By the way I was watching the first blowhard show and Skip Brainless said that Tampa was his far horse to make the playoffs, lmao

Chris Smith's jump off the ball is insane. I called it!

Quote:Did any of you, very early in Gabbert's time in Jax, see a flash of brilliance, or something that made you think he might be a good QB?  I can't remember his first preseason game.

Oh yeah...In his first start against the Panthers he had a couple huge plays that gave us confidence. Unfortunately the remainder of his rookie season was a huge disappointment. In his second year he looked fantastic out of the gate against the Vikings week one, but again that was virtually the highlight of his season. He actually looked like he could do no wrong in a mid-season game that year against the Raiders, but he got hurt forcing an unprepared Henne to just flat out choke losing the Jaguars impressive lead. But outside of those three games he's pretty much just stunk.
