Those 80's numbers have more FLAIR!

Quote:You and me both. The numbers are completely irrelevant unless you've got a real affection for glitter. Exhibit A : Larry Fitzgerald, with # 11, could easily be a first ballot HOFer.
Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery have no problems.

Quote:Exhibit A : Larry Fitzgerald, with # 11, could easily be a first ballot HOFer.But technically, 11 isn't a teen. ![]() Plus, he's only good because of Jerry Sullivan, right? It's all about the coaching. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Brandon Marshall: 15. Cruising towards the Hall of Fame if he maintains his pace.
Julio Jones is another 11. “Motivation alone is not enough. If you have an idiot and you motivate him,now you have a motivated idiot.” Jim Rohn We show less advertisements to registered users. I almost can't believe TMD is literally trying to quantify "mojo."
Unbelievably stupifying.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Quote:But technically, 11 isn't a teen. I would gladly have taken my chances with Larry Fitzgerald wearing any number from 13 to 19, even if with decimal point! Quote:I'd imagine he's probably mulling over several offers at this point. Now this is funny stuff. "Stone Hands" is mulling over several offers. That explains the trip to Carolina that landed him on a jet home without a contract offer in sight. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:Then again, it's closer to a teen number than an 80's number. LOL Detroit doesn't have a long history of WR disappointment with WR who wear numbers in the teens, Jax does.
Quote:Now this is funny stuff. His first visit.
Quote:Detroit doesn't have a long history of WR disappointment with WR who wear numbers in the teens, Jax does. Dude. What are you even saying
Shock the world
Quote:Detroit doesn't have a long history of WR disappointment with WR who wear numbers in the teens, Jax does. Nate Burleson wore # 13 and suffered two major injuries in the last two years. Rookie 6th Round pick WR T.J. Jones, who wears # 13 with the Lions, has yet to get off the PUP list as a result of a shoulder injury he suffered at Yankee Stadium in Notre Dame's 2013 season Bowl Game. Despite this, I am 100% convinced that this has absolutely, positively nothing to do with their jersey number. If Calvin Johnson changed his jersey # to 13, it wouldn't concern me in the least. If only he'd picked a number in the 80s, he'd be playing right now.But the 80's make you want to smoke pot or do drugs in general....Oh wait! If Calvin Johnson changed his jersey # to 13, it wouldn't concern me in the least. earlier today I made a list of more than 10 players that have been disappointments at the Jags WR position that all wore numbers in the teens. Then to counter I decided to also make a list of the Jags WR that were a success while wearing the teen numbers......that total? ZERO. I understand its superstition and it could merely just be coincidence.....but it seems to me theres some bad mojo there and if I was a Jags WR, I certainly wouldn't be actively seeking a jersey number in the teens. Quote:D6 he could wear a decimal point as you say and would be the best player on the planet. Absolutely, Warjag. A jersey number has nothing to do with success or failure unless a player is superstitious enough that it actually adversely affects his play. If that's the case, the player needs help. Can't believe this is the conversation for bout 5 pages. And it's all because TMD said something.......Smh......I swear ppl here just wait for his replies
Quote:earlier today I made a list of more than 10 players that have been disappointments at the Jags WR position that all wore numbers in the teens. In truth, the WR position has been problematic for the Jaguars, especially since Jimmy Smith's off the field problems got out of control. How many Jaguars WR's in the team's history not counting this year's additions, have truly had sustained success? Only two come to mind and one of them, Jimmy Smith wasn't able to control the urges that ended his career.
