Eagles currently -10 favorites over Jaguars

Quote:But every QB in the NFL was ahead of him.  That's what TMD says.
And he's right.

Why are the Eagles even bothering to wear white at home, FBT??

It doesn't matter, right?

The Eagles otherwise always wear green at home.

I read him saying 6.1 is not good.

Not quite.  There were other QBs with lower YPA last year.  His wasn't great, and nobody is arguing otherwise.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:Elite?

TMD was panning Henne for 7.5 in those 300+ yard games as if it was a lousy stat.

Henne is a dink and dunker. When Henne gets a respectable YPA, it almost universally is the result of YAC.

Say what you want about Luck's low YPA, he attacks every part of the field. He just didn't have much weapons at times last season.

Henne has been a dink and dunker with resulting low YPA for years.

Wait.  So, they're not NOT wearing green because there's going to be epic heat in Philly this weekend, but because they don't have green uniforms to wear?  Classic!

Is anyone implying he's anything more than that?

David Garrard was a dink and dunker too, but to you he was elite.

Quote:This is where I'm at as well. We've got most of the pieces necessary to be a much better team than last year, but we're not quite there yet for anything else.

Not yet. But soon we will shock a lot of people. May not even be this season, but if Bortles comes in at all this season, even if we're out of contention for a Wild Card slot, we will see a very different team.

JMHO

Once Bortles becomes starter the Jags offense will be much harder to defend. Defenses will actually have to respect the whole field, as opposed to only 10-15 yards past the LOS with Henne.

28 24 jags.

Toby goes off in his debut as a starting running back. Telvin Smith makes a pick but Cyp is the defensive player of the game. Henne does just enough. Jags win the turnover battle and the game.

Quote:The Eagles green jerseys literally aren't ready yet.

and teams can only wear alternates twice a year and they probably already determined whicf games (if any) they'd wanna wear black for

The Eagles almost always wear white at home in the opening 1-2 hot weather games of the year. This year's green uniform issues are coincidental.

The title of the thread is "Kirk Cousins with another good game" started by him. Cousins had a 6.1ypa game. But if someone has a higher (Foles) 6.2ypa game, thats "straight garbage".

The Eagles have worn white at home in their home opener in every hot weather game going back years.

That link provides a nice excuse for you for this year, but doesn't explain the past 10-20 years.

Ok, got it.  It's hard to keep up sometimes with the shenanigans!

I would LOVE to see Gerhart tear it up. We need an exciting RB again... I miss Fred and Mojo doing work.

Did you watch Foles play that 6.2 game that I referenced. He dinked and dunked for most of his completions. McCoy took a 3 yard pass  30 YAC yards into the EZ.

Kirk Cousins was targeting and completing passes down field. That was a good game for Kirk.

6.1ypa. "completing passes down field"  :woot:

Obviously the receivers turned around and ran back toward him after making the catches.  It's a conspiracy.

A few, yes.

More so than Foles was with a similar YPA.

Foles completions that game were all dinks with YAC yards.
