Eagles currently -10 favorites over Jaguars

While it's down from 10.5 earlier today I think this is WAY too high.

I think IronRank is much closer to the truth at 8.5.

They predict Jaguars 19  Eagles 27, but I don't think the Eagles score that much on this defense.

Just how do you expect the Jags to score 19 points? Honestly...

I can see us hang pretty close for the first 3 quarters... and then, barring some further turnovers by the Eagles in the 4th, they should pull away with the W.

my prediction:

Eagles 24

Jaguars 13

A week ago I saw that the o/u was 52.5, not sure if it's changed

Seemed mighty strange to make it that high when one of the teams is being led by Chad Henne. Must have no respect for the Jags D

Jags D will be gassed after "3 and out" Henne takes his toll.

I like the score, but I see it going the other way. 21-6 going into the 4th, Henne throws a garbage time TD pass in the 4th. Eagles respond with a "because we can" FG.

Sad to say, but this game is going to be a reality check for us. The bright side is we will be 1 game closer to Bortles taking the reins.

Sadly, I expect pretty much the same.... But there's always hope that the Football Gods will smile upon us and the entire Eagles offense will wake up Sunday morning with explosive diarrhea.....

Nobody would notice the smell in Philadelphia.

You're really a ray of Sunshine, aren't ya?
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Experience has taught me to put my teal sunglasses back in their case come September.

Maybe Bortles will be put into the game at halftime.

No pain, no gain.

Does anyone expect us to win this game?

Seems reasonable. 2 Henne drives stall at the 20 for a couple chip shots by 10.

The Eagles, of course.

I think it will be much better than the last time. We were blown out four years ago. But being in Philadelphia with many young players, I think we will lose again.
