Eagles currently -10 favorites over Jaguars

<--- I still expect the jags to win every week.  Even though my better judgement tells me we probably wont.  Its just too hard to expect a win with Henne as the QB.  Really, i dont see us winning more than 4 games (with Henne), PLEASE start Bortles by around week 6 or 8 at the latest...i kinda feel like another top ten draft pick next year would have to help us in the long term rather than winning 8 or 9 games and falling short of the playoffs and the AFC South title.

I did cheer for us every game in the 2 win seasons....it sure would be nice to win 14 again though...

GO JAGS!

I think IronRank is much closer to the truth at 8.5.

They predict Jaguars 19  Eagles 27, but I don't think the Eagles score that much on this defense.

Hmm 2 touchdowns, a field goal and a safety (19)? doesnt sound very likely.

The Eagles average 18% more total yards per game, which is primarily due to almost double rushing yards / rec by McCoy.  If the Jaguars can contain McCoy and force Noles to beat us with his arm that will contain the Eagles to under 20 points.  Requires a lot of rotation on the Dline to keep them fresh and rushing the passer.  The key will be the Eagles weak defense against the pass.  This to me will show the fans, and Gus Bradley if Chad is able to remain the starter of this team.  If he cant throw up 2 TDs and 200 yards against the NFLs worst Pass D then how do you expect him to do it against the average or harder ones?

Or 1 touchdown and 4 field goals (19)

Tough to do with the up-tempo they run.

We shall see.

We're in agreement.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Yup. It's tough to utilize a lot of depth/rotation when the opponent's offense is using hurry up/up tempo.

It's actually a very smart strategy to counter a team with a very strong/deep D-line. I've watched the Steelers do that to Cincinnati with great success over the last few seasons. Cincy has had a strong/deep D-line for the past few seasons. When they were basically having their way with pressure and rotation, the Steelers would go no huddle, and it works very well to counter it.

With Henne under Center, the above breakdown for 19 points is likely.

And for that reason, I grab Scobee as my fantasy kicker a lot. Some of those are bound to be 45+ yds when Chad stalls us out on 3rd and 10 with a 3 yard dump off at the 35 yard line.

Is Scobee healthy? I'd wait on Scobee until I see his injury issues aren't affecting his accuracy.

Quote:The Eagles, of course.

I think it will be much better than the last time. We were blown out four years ago. But being in Philadelphia with many young players, I think we will lose again.
Yeah but the last time at the Lync 2006 we won!

The spread has alot to do with perception.  The Jaguars perception is horrible right now, so the spread is exaggerated.

LOL!  Dude, if you would have watched the Saints/Jags game, you wouldn't say that.  Sproles killed us all day long.

He may be getting older, but he hasn't fallen of a cliff.  Sproles still has something in the tank, I would imagine.  One year later does not make a player like him washed up.

The Jags would be silly to game plan in that manner against Sproles, especially after what he did to us last year.

Both the Jaguars and the Eagles seem to be a bit obsessed with offensive tempo. So when the Jaguars offense is in the game they're likely to go three-and-out in practically no time at all while the Eagles will score quickly.

Could this one get to a 60 or 70 point lead for the Eagles or will Bradley tell Fish to start killing the clock midway through the first half?

Wasn't that game in 2011?

Henne is going to have to have a really good game stats wise for us to even be close and to a lesser extent our D-line

I may not even watch because the outcome was already decided.

I know bro, the team should just go sight seeing in Philly cause the game has been lost on paper.  No need to play it.
