There is no question that the heat factor will be the sole factor for the Jaguars in their black uniforms . . .

Not to derail the thread,
But I'm looking forward to seeing these new uniforms.
Is it against the nfl rules to apply nasa heat shields on the black jerseys?
Quote:For what it's worth. Philly opened up in green tops in 2010 and wore green week 3 in 2012. They wore throwbacks, which were a different shade of green. Even the eagle logo at midfield was different. FWIW their opponent was Green Bay. I know because I watched the game. Quote:The point is that home teams still are utilizing the advantage of forcing the opponent to wear their darks in early season games. This is a fact. Nope. That being an "advantage" certainly is NOT fact. Simply saying it doesn't make it true, no matter how many times you repeat it.

Quote:Aren't we beating a dead horse here? This horse has been pulverized into fertilizer, turned into grass, then hay, then fed to other horses who were subsequently beaten beyond death.

Green Bay just wears green, not black. Unless they wear white, which isn't green or black. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! I do not like throwback jerseys. For any team. Seems a little gimmicky to me.

Quote:I do not like throwback jerseys. For any team. Seems a little gimmicky to me. Well football is a business. Their goal is to make money. More jerseys, equals more jersey sales.

Quote: A real smarty pants, are ya? Is that black, or dark blue? Whichever it is, it matches those brown helmets beautifully. Quote:A real smarty pants, are ya?:teehee: :teehee: :woot: :woot: (dark blue) BTW. The brown is meant to simulate the leather helmets worn with that uni in 1929 with Curly Lambeau at the helm. They went 12-0-1 that year. Quote:I do not like throwback jerseys. For any team. Seems a little gimmicky to me.I can see this, but I also kinda like seeing how teams looked in earlier uniforms. Of course Pittsburgh's are putrid. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
