Why don't the Eagles just wear their regular green jerseys?

 

I don't think the heat will make a difference. They are still better, older, and the home team.

The Eagles likely would have worn their white jerseys in the opener regardless if these "new custom green jerseys" were ready or not. 

 

They rarely wear dark colors in their home opener in early Sept games.
