Gus Bradley: "Chad Henne preformed efficiently"
|
Quote:Yep, this is what I was going to say. It's like telling your wife that an outfit looks good when the ultimate compliment is "Yeah, it looks hot as hell." So, yeah, "efficient" doesn't make waves but sends a clear message. Just don't tell the wife that the outfit is efficient. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:Actually the first half was a lot like Gabbert in some ways, too.. True just glad we got bortles Quote:Actually the first half was a lot like Gabbert in some ways, too. Unless you're talking Foles, then you're being intellectually dishonest.

As evidenced here, Jaguar fans and message board denizens are just angry the Coach Bradley isn't as angry at the scapegoat as they are. Unfortunately for them Coach Bradley understands that Chad Henne was probably the best part of the offense on Sunday.

That over throw on 4th down to our 6'7 te was the biggest fail of hennes time here imo it was a 5 yard pass for god sakes
Quote:Henne QBR was middle of the pack. He didn't carry the team to victory but he was far from horrible as some try to portray. I wish more fans could see this as clearly. The most popular player on the team is always the backup QB.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Quote:Unless you're talking Foles, then you're being intellectually dishonest. No, the only difference significant between Gabbert and Henne I've noticed is that Henne at least has what it takes to pull it together and pad his stats in garbage time. Gabbert would just fall apart and even 4th quarter prevent defenses didn't help him out. I can't wait until Bortles is in and we can end the suffering of the Gabbert/Henne years.
Quote:If those drops wound up catches, his stats would have been better. Didn't happen.I hope you're right. The division is wide open and the Jags are just as good as any other team in the division. Which isn't saying much, but there's a lot of pride that comes with winning the division, regardless of the competition.

Damn sucked back into debate between a mediocre QB and a terrible QB... Why????!!!!???
Quote:This as some awfully selective reporting by BCC. They cherry picked one comment to post an article, and ignored the entire context of the presser. Saying Henne was "efficient" and played well is rainbows and gum drops.
Send in the clowns? They're already here.
I haven't been more embarrassed by the ignorance of our fanbase like this, well... ever.

Quote:I don't think the first half was garbage time. Damn sucked back into debate between a mediocre QB and a terrible QB... Why????!!!!??? The first half was aberrant. Henne had good stats, but he wasn't the guy making the plays in the first half. He owed a lot to the defense and Hurns for making mindless drones think he had made decent passes. That Hurns is a real gem. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. Quote:Saying Henne was "efficient" and played well is rainbows and gum drops. It really just doesn't get any smarter where you're concerned. You work at one speed. Kudos for consistency. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The fourth and one foot that Henne threw to Lewis is considered a drop because Lewis touched the ball. Common sense says it wasn't a drop, but an errant throw. Henne played just like I expected him to play. Except I was surprised he threw the two long TD throws to Hurns. Even then did you notice that one of the TD throws was 5 foot behind him and the other throw was short?
Quote:Just don't tell the wife that the outfit is efficient. Efficient outfits are crotchless or have quick disconnect fasteners.
Quote:What the hell am I reading? Go down the list of offensive components and tell me what other one was better? The pass pro was OK. The run blocking was terrible. The TEs were non existent except to watch Lewis lumber like a new born giraffe with the hands of of a circus clown. Hurns was good for 4 plays, the rest of the WRs were invisible except to drop some really nicely thrown passes. The RBs were useless. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
