One thing we will miss is Hennes efficiency though and how quick he got us in and out of plays....... fastest three n outs ever. Hopefully Bortles learned something

I think the fans have lost confidence in Gus bc of the way he handled the QB position. Preached competition and best man wins stuff, when we all knew that was a lie.

Just so happens BB is ready when 3/4 of the stadium is gone by half time, and Henne is stinking up the joint. I hope he learned from this, so the team can stop playing games with personnel and start winning.

Bob Babich, just to be different.  I think he should have prepared our defense better.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Quote:I'm not down on Caldwell at all. If he got Bortles right, pro-Bowlers will start magically appearing out of thin air.

Yeah, the above statement got me thinking about Caldwell...what position groups can we honestly say is worse today than when he took over?

O-line? They are young but I think the potential is there to be much better than two years ago.

RB? Toby appears to be a whiff, in my opinion anyway. But Dave couldn't help the fact that age caught up with Mojo.

TE? Perhaps.

Other than that I can't think of any. Am I missing any? I'd say the roster has improved. I think pretty soon the team will improve as well.

Honorary mention is Paul Posluszny. Dude got old over an offseason and looks bad. No speed at the position outside a rookie cornerback playing an outside linebacker. All we have in the middle is a rookie, some low level free agents, and a grandpa. No wonder we suck on defense.

Grandpa? What game were you watching?

If Poz had lighter hair I'd swear he was Thor..or Brad Pitt in Troy...no no..Poz and his play both have zero flaws.

Oh no you didn't! Tau'ufo'ou is an All-Pro level player. You saw what happened today when Bortles looked his way. Should catch 70 passes for close to 1000 yds by the end of the season.

The one that happened in Jacksonville yesterday. The one where Reggie Wayne was running routes across his zone burning his slow [BLEEP]. But I guess he made the defense look top notch out there doing his part let you tell it.

Eleventh Doctor beat me to it but it is clearly Bob Babich, IMO. His defense, which was supposed to keep us in the games until the offense got it going, has given up 40 points a game.

I have no issues with how Blake Bortles has been brought along/handled and even would rather they wait until after the bye week but I can see the rationale for putting him in now...I just fear a David Carr 2.0 situation.

Concerning Gus, I still don't know if he can manage a game properly and some doubts are creeping in on his and Dave's evaluations of some players, notably the Seattle castoffs and Toby Slughardt but the full jury is still out.

Back to the original question, to me it's Babich, hands down.

So you actually expect a linebacker to match up well against Reggie Wayne?
