Good post dude, but recognize that it has been very bad for a while.
Please understand these fans are hungry for a change. Quote:It's becoming more and more apparent on this board that the people that actually have Season Tickets and go to the game are feeling a little more frustrated from those that live in California, Illinois, and Tennesse and don't go to the games.Until 2 months ago, i went to the games. It's a bummer to see them suck, but really, are you gonna let it get to you that much? It's just a game, i have far more important things in my life than a football game. Quote:For some reason I'm just highly annoyed by posters on the board lately. I don't normally much care as I like coming on here and reading things. However, lately I've had the severe misfortune in watching a lot of posters just post the most brain-dead, idiotic drivel that one should never have wasted life reading. So you came here to whine about the whiners? Good job ![]() Quote:So you came here to whine about the whiners? Good jobThe tone of the post is positive, not whining. We show less advertisements to registered users. If you cut through all the crap the truth is there is very little to be positive about.
Yes there are some young players that show potential but until proven it's just that. The product on the field is garbage. ![]()
Quote:BigJag57 --- I'm just curious how much $$ you spent on Season Tickets over the past 5 years. Our family has spent over $12,500 in tickets alone which equates to ~ $25,000 on our Gameday experience. Then don't go. I don't see how your money spent has anything to do with this. If you feel it's better invested elsewhere then go ahead. No one is forcing you to buy tickets. Just bc you spent money during crappy regimes doesn't meant that the current one only gets a year to turn things around.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:The team is currently on their second 8 game losing streak in two years. We have a GM/coach with a 4-21 record and an owner with a 6-35 record. What do you expect? The Jags have started a season 0-5 only twice in their existence. Last year and this year. If they don't find a W in one of their next 3 games, this fact will bump up to 0-8 twice in their existence. P.S.As someone already said, this regime is 4-17 so far, not 4-21 (at least not yet) We all hope you are not a fortuneteller.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:David Shula is considered by a lot of people to be the worst head coach in modern NFL history. Unfortunately, that's doable for the Jags. At what point should we start praying?

Quote:Good post dude, but recognize that it has been very bad for a while. I'm with ya man, but don't you see that change is exactly what we're getting? We've got 7 rookies starting on offense. Sure, Dave could have slowly fixed this problem by only putting one rookie out there at a time, but that would take a very long time to upgrade all of the positions that need upgrading. So instead we have 7 rookies learning on the fly. I don't care who you are, you could be chuck knoll or Tom Landry, you have 7 rookies on your offense and you aren't going to do very well. At least at the beginning of the season. But by the end of the season you should have 7 players who are noticeably better than they were at the beginning of the season and you should start seeing results. I think we have already started seeing some progress. We went through murderer's row the first 5 weeks of the season playing some very good teams, now we get a significantly easier stretch and I think you'll start to see an improved football team by the time we head into the bye. Everyone was fine with being patient and watching things develop at the beginning of the season. Now 5 weeks into the season everyone wants to burn it down and start over again. Keep watching, and you'll see progress
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.
This is professional football. Everything is analyzed....everything.
They are under a laser. Its next man up business along with a scoreboard
Jags fans dont live in reality. Jags fans live in the 1996, 2007, and 2009 National Championship seasons.

As the radio analysts stated yesterday on local radio. This is a league of parity. As much as it is hard to win in todays NFL, it's equally as difficult to consistently lose in todays NFL.
That said, I have confidence they will turn it around but losing sure does take it's toll on the fanbase. As I posted once before, when was the last time a Jag fan even looked at the NFL Standings after September? The only thing October means to us is the 201x Mock Draft

There have been several blowouts around the league. More than usual for this point in the season. This is what happens when you continually change rules to boost offense and entertain the masses. The teams without elite talent at QB will suffer.
There seems to be parity around the entire league except with the Jags and the Raiders. Any given Sunday....unless you're Oakland or Jacksonville.
One of these years.............

I swear the NFL changed the rules to benefit Manning and it backfired when them Seahawks won the ship..

The whole parity thing has never been accurate. If it were every team would end up somewhere around 8-8 every year. Football has changed so much but it is and always has been a QB driven league, at least since the 70's. If you don't have a good one you are not going to be winning much. Been that way for a long time now.
