im a little busy at work today. can someone give me a quick breakdown on the team as a whole and how bortles has been?

 

Aside from that great final drive, Bortles has looked shaky - first INT was right as he got hit though. The WRs haven't gotten much separation.

 

The running game has been productive.

 

The defence has had a great day so far. The Browns moved the ball a bit more in the 2nd quarter, but the D has made a couple of crucial red zone stop.s

That's why I wanted him to start from the beginning.  Get this rookie stuff out of the way before we actually have a team put together that can do something.  If we're going to lose anyway, it doesn't matter.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke. 

To be fair we haven't gotten blown out by 20 points since he's started. We have actually been in every game well into the fourth quarter since he's been starting.

And to be realistic, we have won exactly zero more games with Bortles than we did Henne.

 

I love Bortles. I think he'll be fine. I am just laughing at the losers who thought that replacing one player was going to fix an entire team.

 

I haven't said anything to the contrary. I know some are already hard at work spinning it, but the fact is that they were just a tad bit off with their assessment for the blame of the defensive woes.
