I'll take the under on that...
Although I'm not gonna lie, I am laughing at this right now because I'm still stuck at work for another 20 minutes.

Quote:He could look like Ted Bundy's love child with Charles Mason, and have a Hitler stache', and I'd be okay with it if he were a good coordinator, and not a criminal. With that pedigree, he's pretty much bound to be a criminal though. Just sayin'

I don't care who Gus hires as long as he uses the gargantuan we have in the middle of the field, stops sending Jordan Todman deep like he's J-Smoove, has easy throws built into his offense for Blake, attacks the seams consistently and whose concepts get the ball to receivers on the move.

Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny. Quote:In a move that would cause TMDs head to explode.... LOL
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
I would like to offer my services for Jaguars OC. I ran a highly successful online scheme on Madden 13 with Blaine Gabbert at QB. I also know not to run slow running backs to the outside.
No pain, no gain.

Everyone wants to say, "I want a coordinator who uses this guy for these plays and that guy for those plays and doesn't do this with this guy and that with that guy, and...... is not predictable."
One name I'd like to throw out there; Art Briles of Baylor.
Fast paced Offense, simplicity, a record of developing talent, and desire to move up. Might be a smart choice, if not a bit improbable.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
FWIW - DiRocco's list of potential candidates:
Marc Trestman: He was recently fired after two seasons as the Chicago Bears’ head coach and will have no shortage of job offers. He has had success with quarterbacks such as Jake Plummer, Scott Mitchell and Rich Gannon, and while serving as offensive coordinator has had teams lead the NFL in scoring, passing yards, and total offense. He led the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes to a pair Grey Cups and a 59-31 record in five seasons. He would seem to be the top candidate and Bradley said on Tuesday he knows Trestman but hasn’t yet reached out to him. Greg Roman: Though there are reports that he is headed to Michigan with Jim Harbaugh, he also is among the coaches being targeted by Tampa Bay to fill its vacant OC spot. He has been San Francisco’s coordinator for the past four seasons and before that was Harbaugh’s OC at Stanford, where he worked with Andrew Luck. There is a Jacksonville connection, though: He and Jaguars GM David Caldwell were teammates at John Carroll University and Roman allowed Caldwell to stay with him rent-free when the two were starting out their NFL careers with the Carolina Panthers. Greg Olson: He was the assistant head coach/quarterbacks coach in Jacksonville under Mike Mularkey and spent the past season in Oakland as the offensive coordinator, but his position there is in flux with the team searching for a head coach. He did a good job this past season with rookie quarterback Derek Carr, who threw for 3,270 yards with 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Olson was the offensive coordinator in St. Louis in 2006-07 and the Rams became just the fourth team in NFL history to produce a 4,000-yard passer, a 1,500-yard rusher and two 1,000-yard receivers in the same season. He also worked with Bradley in Tampa Bay, where he was the offensive coordinator from 2008-11. Some other names to watch: Dirk Koetter, Nathaniel Hackett (Buffalo OC) and Greg Knapp (Denver QB coach). Hackett previously worked with Bradley in Tampa Bay and Knapp was on the Seattle staff for one season (2009) with Bradley. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:Those 3 suck. Not really. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:One name I'd like to throw out there; Art Briles of Baylor. I don't think Briles would leave the $4million+ per season contract he signed that runs through 2023 to become an offensive coordinator. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:FWIW - DiRocco's list of potential candidates: As I said earlier in the thread I can seriously see us looking to Knapp, has the Bradley connection, has play calling experience and has spent some years with PM which is always a bonus! |
