WVU has a pretty cool team and following.  It's a shame their academics were too low to obtain an invite into the ACC.

 

Admission requirements of a 2.5 GPA and a 20 (ACT) or 950 (SAT) is pretty much equivalent to accepting anyone that can't go elsewhere.

I have several friends from the state of West Virginia. They pretty much regard WVU as being a degree factory with rather low academic standards. Most of them went to a school called West Virginia Tech which apparently is much more difficult to graduate from.

 

I have no first hand knowledge of it myself, but from their story and what you just posted it seems to make sense.

Much better competition, once the Big 12 add's another team or two and gets a conference championship it will become more respected

Based on what? He has no relationships with any of the current staff at UF. FSU is in it more than people think.

 

EDIT: Maybe I spoke too soon, but ESPN has an article saying he's down to Auburn and UF. I still don't believe it based on how this kid has loved to troll throughout this entire process.

If Muschamp had him considering UF though, maybe he liked UF for more than just the coaches.  You never know what is a priority to these kids.

I agree. He has UF this weekend and FSU next still so all bets are off at this point still.
