Since it's now recruiting season, and since trav messed up my other thread  , here is the newest recruiting thread.

 

Anyway, to piggyback off of what I said in the other thread, FSU picked up 5* DE Josh Sweat this morning. He chose FSU over VT, UGA, Oregon, and Ohio State.

 

That gives FSU four five stars, with the possibility of George Campbell regaining his 5th star, as well as Byron Cowart hopping on board. FSU could possibly finish with six 5* players.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Looks like Shannon to UF will happen. Big addition for McElwain. Guy can recruit South Florida like no one else, should pay dividends in the future.

Watching the Under Armour game, it looks like FSU got a good one in Deondre Francois. Cannon arm.

I'm totally bummed.  A few days ago UF was only 2 slots behind Army and now I just checked and they are 5 slots behind Army.

Slightly misleading ranking system since it factors in the quantity of recruits.  I personally look at the average ranking to base the quality of recruits.

 

Pitt average 3.1 stars

UF average 3.0 stars

Kentucky average 3.4 stars ---- the Cheating Calipari must be in charge of football recruiting too.
