Teddy Bridgewater win ROTY

#21

O'Dell Beckham was a WR stud this season.

Evans

Benjamin

J. Hill

were also very good.

There were quite a few standout rookies this year.

Mack and CJ Moseley were awesome on defense

Quote:Agreed. Bridgewater was my number one player in the draft, but both of them played better at their respective position than him. I thought even Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack had better rookie seasons.

I did not know they play on offense.

There are two awards, one for offense and one for defense.

Quote:Congratulations to TB.

I have but one question:

Would you trade BB straight up for TB right now?

It's a simple yes or no answer.

Right now, I would not. Some of you out there might.
No...Blake's upside and durability trump the marginally better year Teddy had in a much better situation playing with a roster full of veterans and for a real offensive coordinator.

Quote:Teddy was the most Pro ready QB in the draft, but Blake has a higher ceiling. Where Teddy tops out, Blake should excel.
Bingo.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

no. The only rookie I would think about trading Bortles for is Beckham. Then if that happened, I would trade Foles

you wanna trade a potential franchise qb for a WR who has had 1 good year so far?

pretty logical.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

The Pepsi Rookie of the Year award encompasses all rookies, so there aren't separate awards for offense and defense.

Reading comprehension, I said the only rookie I would think about trading Bortles for is ODB. I like Bortles and he has all the tools to be good but, If I could get Beckham and trade for Foles I would do it. While Bortles has all the tools and I think he will be good Foles is the most underrated QB in the league IMO and proven he can get the job done. With Foles, ODB, a top TE in free agency along with our WR core I think we could have one of the most dangerous offense in the league. ODB had the one good season but if you can't tell he is gonna be great you don't know what you're looking at

Beckham Jr won the actual Offensive ROY award. Bridgewater didn't get a vote.

No surprise, OP thought it would of been well deserved if Teddy won. Don't see it, maybe he didn't watch any Giants games

I'm from New York I watch every game with my friends and brothers.. Odell was the best rookie this year 100%... I also 100% know and understand more football than you do.. What I am saying is that winning this Pepsi rookie of the year means he was one of the top rookies and it brings back memories of those "Teddy Bridgewater" threads before the draft...where are those people who said he wouldn't do anything in the NFL at?

Congrats to Odell Beckham, Aaron Donald and Teddy Bridgewater. Well deserved!

Actually I am the board's grammar police, but I love not being the only one to correct people.

Anyone is able to have proper grammar. They just choose not to use it because this board is a virtual world.

Saying "at least you understand" to MissJagsFanatic is a major facepalm! You should erase that post before other board members see!
