So who is going to man up and admit that they didn't like Bridgewater before the draft? Lol..

Congrats to Teddy, well deserved.

I thought the awards woud not be announced until the honors show. How could Teddy Bridgewater get it a day early?

Should have* won..

I agree with that as well. He was an all-star and Teddy was a rookie playing really well, but Odell is a pro. He already congratulated Teddy on Twitter.

Further proof that the only position that matters to people is the the QB. Both OBJ and Mike Evans were more deserving IMO.

Agreed. Bridgewater was my number one player in the draft, but both of them played better at their respective position than him. I thought even Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack had better rookie seasons.

Pretty surprised if OBJ doesn't get it. He was a monster as a rookie. Teddy was ok I guess, but so was Carr. Teddy doesn't deserve this one.

Congratulations to TB.

I have but one question:

Would you trade BB straight up for TB right now?

It's a simple yes or no answer.

Right now, I would not. Some of you out there might.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

This was the Pepsi rookie of the year...I think that's different from the one normally regarded as the top honor.

Not sure though. Could be 100% wrong.

Either way teddy deserves it.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

This isn't the real Rookie of the Year. It is the Pepsi one.

Beckham deserves it IMO

Averaging 100+ yards and a TD is insane for anyone, let alone a rookie.

Not to mention he missed most of training camp and the beginning of the season with an injury.

No. Teddy would've not held up with this OL. I like the dualthreat of Bortles, and Norv vs. Fisch is a laughable contest

Teddy was the most Pro ready QB in the draft, but Blake has a higher ceiling. Where Teddy tops out, Blake should excel.

I don't think Teddy will win the real OROY award.  Pretty sure Beckham will.  Donald or Mack will win DROY unless I'm completing forgetting someone else.  I saw this Pepsi award announced on twitter yesterday and was pretty sure someone would bring it to the board and hold it up as if it were the real award.  It's not folks.

The NFL award show is this evening at 9:00 PM on NBC.

In addition, the Pepsi award appears to be voted on by the fans from what I've read.  I'm not sure how the fans didn't select OBJ with all the publicity he had been getting the last 4 or 5 games of the year.
