Quote:Nelson Agholor looked pretty good until he hurt his hand. Good 40 time and looked good in the gauntlet drill.

How did he get hurt?

He dislocated his middle finger doing up and out drills if I heard right.

I can't believe how slow Jameis Winston is. His 40 time is almost the same as the fastest offensive lineman. Pathetic.

Marcus Mariota meanwhile was the fastest quarterback at 4.52 seconds.

Didnt the simulcast just show Cooper and White neck and neck?

EDIT: It actually looks like Cooper finished first.

He ran the same as your lover Blake Bortles.   :teehee:

His 40 time means nothing.  He's a pocket passer, he's not going to be running all over the field making plays with his legs.

I don't think Winston is getting drafted to run a spread offense. Tom Brady ran a pathetic 40 and I think he turned out ok.

He's a pocket passer what does it matter?

Handley looked better than I expected today.  I don't want anything to do with him and he'll be gone well before I would take him due to his position and potential but he'd be a nice guy to have for a team with an established guy.  Let him sit and develop and he could be a good QB down the road.

Quote:He has the same size hands as Blake Bortles and bigger than Derek Carr for comparison sake.

Time to take him off the board.

I went by the measurements shown at NFL.com taken during the combine.

Blake's are the same, Carr's smaller.  Blake's hands measured 9 3/8" and Carr's hands measured 9 1/8".

His hands are fine.  The vertical doesn't mean much to me either.  He's not an explosive athlete and doesn't need to be to do his job.

I know quarterbacks don't have to be very fast, but Winston was supposed to run much faster than that.

He was?  Says who?  Either way, it still means nothing.  If he had run a 5.5 or something obscene...maybe.  His 4.97 is fine.

They just simulcast Cooper/Parker/White and two of them finished at the same time. Looked like cooper and white but was hard to tell.

No he wasn't... Everyone knew he was slow.

Speed for a QB means nothing. Gimme a slow but great pocket passer every day.

Kevin White and DGB made themselves a lot of money today. Both will be top 15-20 with White possibly the top 10.

I love that Mariota is testing out amazing. If he nails his pro day, he will go 1 or 2.... Doesn't have to be the Titans because someone will want him.

From NFL.com (emphasis added):

Quote:The Florida State quarterback ran a 4.97, and while it was expected that the former Seminoles star would run a slower time than Mariota, Winston didn't figure to rank quite that low. By comparison, the fastest offensive lineman at the combine, Ali Marpet of Hobart College, ran a nearly identical time of 4.98.

Bortles ran a 4.93 I believe
