For anyone wondering Dave Caldwell is sitting in front of the 2nd table watching the 40 times personally.

Quote:I still think it's Williams if he's there. If not, Fowler. After that, though, it gets interesting. I didn't like Beasley during the season but he was playing light, and he's shown the ability to put on good weight. And Dupree looks good.

So I would say:

1.Williams

2A) Fowler

2B) trade to six and pick up Beasley and a 2nd.

I think Gregory and Ray are off our radar though.
Couldn't agree more.

I dont think Ray is off he's still a natural DE, he just cant workout yet

Gregory is prob off, too small to play LEO, if we have a pick outside of 10 he would be too good to pass up tho

For Gregory, I just can't stop thinking of Dion Jordan. He has the same build, same strength questions, same ceiling and floor.

Wonder if we can snag Shelton in the 3rd.

A draft like Beasley + Tomlinson (OG) or Smith (OT) + Shelton in the 3rd......that would really address the issues up front on both sides

Hopefully not the one with a 1st round grade.

Actually Jordan is taller and heavier which makes Gregory a little less impressive IMO.

Not really feeling the Gregory pick at 3.

Holy crap I just watched Williams go through the drills and run. He looks like a big linebacker. I've never seen a guy that big move so well.

Some people around here have been throwing the "freakish athlete" label on people who really don't deserve it. That being said Leonard Williams is a freakish athlete. :-)

Think he's way overhyped. I had a 2nd round grade on him (50-60), and now I could see him falling to the 70s.

He's not BJ Raji, nor is he Terrance Cody. He just got away with being physically dominant at his size but that's not gonna work in the NFL. He needs to commit to being in shape. That was a pathetic showing, and its going to drop him.

Hahahaha good thing you're not a real scout. You clearly don't know what's going on.

Also, says the guy who thinks Maxx Williams is going to fall into the 2nd because of a 4.71. Which some could argue is equally laughable.

People can disagree, dont see the need for personal remarks.

Nothing really changed for me as far as the front 7 guys are concerned. There are some versatile guys so I wouldn't doubt if we draft a couple guys who can move between LB & DL depending on the situation
