I like TJ in the 4th or later if he falls or Ajayi as well.

No, because they all roid up at Bama & Wisconsin.  Once they get off the juice in the NFL, they become exposed for what they really are.

Lol, gotta love baseless rumors leading up to the draft.

Quote:assuming gurleys knees hold up, he is easily the best rb in this draft.

I would have thought that if Nick Chubb didn't come in there and rush for 1,547 yards at a 7.1 yards per carry.

Did Georgia have the 2 best RBs in the country last year or is there more to their success than we know?   I think Gurley & Chubb are elite but it does make you wonder how the #2 RB can come in there and have the same success.

That would be awesome, although I wouldn't risk him falling that far. If Duke Johnson miraculously makes it to the Jaguars round three pick I'll take him there, but if he's gone I'd snag TJ right there. There's a good chance TJ will be there at the top of the third round, but he's not likely to last much longer.

As for Ajayi, I'm really not impressed. He's a smooth runner with no real cutting ability in his game wherein he depends on his speed. But it's not like he's Denard fast. At the combine, Ajayi ran a very average 4.57, although I admit you can see his football speed on tape
(pads don't slow him down)

The nice thing for us is that there are a lot of RBs who could do a job for us. I'd avoid getting another player of a similar style to DRob. But otherwise, take your pick !

Upright runner. He could have a rough time in the pros.

I think he is much better than he is portrayed in the media and this message board. I see a big guy who can run(no 2nd gear but hardly any back in this class has one) with much better feet/hips and change of direction than one would expect at his size. He's no Freddy T, but he is a starting rb in the nfl imo.

I think Yeldon would be a great fit in the ZBS scheme.

Baldinger has us taking him at 36

Lol, this was a good take. Can't believe Yeldon has supposedly risen this high. Would be happy with him in the 3rd...I'll be real disappointed if he's the pick at 36 honestly. Would be laughable to me if he goes before Diggy, Rowe, Kendricks, DGB, Lockett, Fisher, Clemmings, Gregory etc...

Bit of a surprise pick.

LT seems to like him though so I'll take that as a positive

A lot of the draft geeks on twitter are meh on the signing, which is actually a good sign.

Bucky Brooks likes the pick comparing him to Le'Veon Bell.

That will do me

Yuck. Maybe for the 3rd round. Not #36. Should have been Eric Rowe to start at FS.

If your mind is set on RB there, why not go with the much higher rated Tevin Coleman?

I know, because Caldwell had Yeldon higher. Still yuck. 4.6 speed. Blah. Good receiver out of the back field though.

Definitely a ssurprise. One thing to think about is that he's usually shared carries during his career at Alabama, so I wouldn't think there's a whole lot of wear and tear on his body

he is a good player.  some of those cuts it almost looks like he is gliding.  smooth runner.  biggest concern will be can he stay healthy.

Bama runs the ball more than just about anyone. Even in a committee, he still got a lot of touches, and I believe he had some nagging injuries last season. Add to that his fullback-like speed and I just don't see it...
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.
