Hillary Clinton defense.  Just destroy everything and turn over some Yoga texts or something.

Not to true fans of football, it absolutely isn't over. But espn and the nfl network are ready to move on... which means casual fans eventually will forget about all this.

Hardcore fans, I think won't let this slide.

Now, if Kraft decides to go nuclear... oh buddy! Get your popcorn ready!

I really hope he does.  I believe it's necessary.

Brady will win the appeal if nothing else based on lack of facts in the case.  The ball had less air but how many times have the NFL checked balls under similar weather conditions at the half time to compare to the AFC Championship game?  Who saw or heard Tom Brady either remove the air or tell his staff to do so and where is the email, letter, or witnesses?

Too many holes in this case to stand the way it is... the punishment was for show they know it wont stick.

He's appealing the wrong thing.

Every talking head, including Silver, has said it is about breaking the "conduct" policy more than the rule being broken.

His lack of being forthcoming with his texts is really what has landed him in hotter water.

Had he come out and been like "yeah i asked the guys to get my balls where i like em" he would have been fined and that would have been that.

The cover up, or attempted cover up, or sweeping under the rug... whatever you call it is what his 4 game suspension is really about.

GODdell has to protect the shield. Even from the biggest stars.

I always thought Peyton Manning was the better QB out of the two based on all factors, because Brady wins conf. championships but its because his team cheats.

Necessary for what? If I was Kraft I wouldn't want to come out and further ruin the goodwill of the league. More negative publicity could further taint the league and make it less popular with fans. A less popular NFL, with less money being spent on NFL-related purchases, means the Patriots probably take a big hit on their value.
