Read some ask vic today and he wants to know how many times the headsets went out at Gillette Stadium vs other stadiums around the league.

For the opposing team? I dont think the Pats would have control of that. But, wouldn't think they would have control over air in the balls

Whoever runs the stadium. Don't think they could possibly in cahoots with the record-setting franchise that calls their building home?

It happened in the 1996 AFC Championship game.  The Patriots under Belichick are cheaters, and I reject any wins they've had in that span.  Every handoff and every pass was made with a doctored ball for the past 8 years.  They earned nothing in my book.

Didn't ours go out in either the 2005 or 2007 playoff game?

Vic Ketcham said the headsets.went down in the 2nd and 3rd quarters against the Patriots.

He joked with Del Rio about it Before the game and asked what quarter they woukd go out. Del Rio guessed 2nd quarter and Vic guessed 3rd.

They went out in both quarters....

Last time Kraft got caught cheating, he warned the league he'd squeal next time.  On everybody.  For everything.

Time to grab your popcorn.  Will he follow through with his "blackmail" and spill the beans on league wide cheating practices?

I hope so.

Get it out and over with.  We've wasted too much time and energy over soft balls to begin with.

Pine tar, scuffing baseballs, corking bats, deflating footballs.  Just another footnote in history.  Adding richness of story to hiSTORY.

The Patriots organization and fans should be ashamed of there super bowl trophies.

This isnt the first time.

It had become a culture, and Goodell needs to investigate further.

As a fan, i will not stand for cheating. Beat me fair and square and ill shake your hand after the game and leave it all on the field, but dont cheat me.

Didn't the lights go out in that game? And it seemed like it was at a moment when we were gaining momentum.

Or we could just ignore it. If he has all this information then what is he waiting for? Trying to down play their own scandals?

Speaking of adding richness, where does this fit into that oh-so-complicated-weave?

Clearly that was on Belichick and Brady...

Just wait.  If he has something legit that the league wants kept under wraps, you'll see Brady and the team win on appeal.

8 years.  It started in the 2007 season after the Tom Brady / Peyton Manning rule change in the offseason, and ran through the 2014 regular season and playoffs.

After appear, the penalties are halved. Brady is suspended two games, the Pats are fined $500,000 and lose a 2nd round pick in 2016 and an 8th round pick in 2017. Goodell pushes the union to add an 8th round to the draft in 2017.

While Brady's agent is saying they'll definitely appeal, it'll be interesting to see if that's just rhetoric and in the end, he bites the bullet and accepts the penalties.  There are reports saying the league is doing everything they can to put this thing to rest now because they really don't want to have to go nuclear on Brady or the Pats.  Sounds like there's a lot of nasty stuff they're sitting on related to that organization.

Would that really be surprising?  Sports leagues tend to cater to the superstars.  Jordan practical shoved Bryon Russell into oblivion for that last shot.

It wouldn't be surprising at all.  Tom Brady is part of the elite player club in the league.  They're not going to tear him down too much because it would hurt the brand.

Brady and his agent pretty much have to appeal - in order to save face. He'll initially lose that appeal, as it's before Goodell or his designee (more probably). Gee, I wonder how that will turn out.

Brady and the Patriots then have the option of going to Federal court. That would be a big deal. Not sure of the time frame involved. Could it get heard before opening day or would it take months and months and months?

What I find interesting is that if it goes to Federal court part of discovery would require, from what I've read, that Brady turn over the phone text info. If he didn't want to for the Wells investigation why would he do so for a federal law suit? I assumed the phone had incriminating texts. How would be avoid that information from coming out? My dog ate my phone?
