Next would be (for me personally) the influence of faith or lack thereof.  I don't want to get religious in this thread, but generally speaking, faith tends to institute certain morals into people's lives.  The decision of "right vs. wrong" is often talked about and taught in places of faith.

Morals and the distinction between right and wrong are taught to children (and adults) in many, many other contexts and places.

It's not for me to "give permission" to anyone.  If you had any bit of decency or integrity, you would most certainly understand that earlier in this thread I objected to the public jokes towards a man that was accused though not convicted of a crime.  Since then he has been found guilty and has admitted as such, therefor I have no problem with the jokes.

What this guy has done will have a negative impact on the lives of so many others, including his soon-to-be ex wife, and his two very young children.  They'll grow up with the stigma of knowing that their father is a convicted pedophile, and when he finally gets out of prison, a registered sex offender.  People never think about the collateral damage caused by their behavior in situations like this.  It's tragic.

Agreed.  It even goes further with society in this day and age.  It doesn't take long for insults or attacks to be spread around the world via the internet and social media.  There is no real "thought" in culture and society today.  It's all about getting "likes" on websites and social media.  The destruction and tragedy of a family is mocked and even "celebrated" by certain groups of people.  Nobody ever takes into account not only the family as you described, but also the victims.
