Could the Jaguars trade Scobee? Ryan O thinks so. (Scobee Traded to steelers)

He better connect on any game winners or there will be an up roar over this trade. It will be a 6th or 7th rounder bc Pitt already used a 5th on RB Brandon Boykin

According to Jeff Prosser on Twitter Scobee is officially going to the Steelers.  Still hasn't said what the compensation is.

I like it.  Jason Meyers can boot the ball, can be here for a long time, and we can get something in return for a kicker.  I think it's a win/win.  I love Scobee but for where this franchise is this is definitely the correct move.

Sad to see Scobee go, he's one of my favorite jaguars.... because of all the GW field goals he had. I can understand the move though. Go with the younger kicker, and get a potential draft pick.

I guess it is the right move. Only time will tell, though.

I bet RGIII is coming to claim that #10 jersey.

P.S. Sorry to see "Mr. Automatic" go. Thanx Scobee.

Serious gamble on Caldwell's part. Could backfire on him big time. Could pay off.

Scobee has been a terrific kicker (sans the protection issues for him last year).

Heinz Field is a notoriously tough place for FG kickers, especially in the open-ended side of the field. It's tough to make long FGs there.

well, with the 4th and 5th rounder we got for Monroe, it gaves us flexibility to draft guys like Telvin Smith and Aaron Colvin... so even though Joeckel hasn't worked out for us, at least we got some nice players in return.
