Yeah he's gone. I think it will be a 5th or a 6th that we get in return.

Quote:<div>n the eve of their first NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars made their first trade Friday, acquiring quarterback Mark Brunell from the Green Bay Packers for two draft picks.

Brunell, a restricted free agent who backed up Brett Favre last season, became available on Thursday when negotiations with Philadelphia broke down. The Jaguars moved in and quickly reached a three-year deal with Brunell while agreeing to send third- and fifth-round picks (Nos. 66 and 170) to the Packers."We were able to maintain our four picks in the first two rounds, plus get another veteran quarterback who brings a lot to the table," said Tom Coughlin, the Jaguars coach and general manager.

Well, not all too shocking, but they must have really high hopes/faith in Myers. Now I can officially get a Myers jersey! Only the best hold that name, lol.

Thanks Scoobey!

Quote:Not really. I have mentally moved past counting on a kicker to win us every game.

I wish they could have just packaged anybody drafted by Gene Smith and/or Shack Harris whose foot actually touches the ball during the game and sent them off as well. I.e, Bryan "The ball makes a sound you have never heard" Anger.

I heard the Jags are going to take on part of the contract to facilitate the trade. If that's the case money wasn't the number 1 reason.
