Serious gamble on Caldwell's part. Could backfire on him big time. Could pay off.

 

 

Yeah, there's a risk, but the odds are highly in our favor. I love the move. Myers has a chance to be a great Kicker for a long, long time. Scobee realistically may only have a few years left as one of the most expensive Kickers in the game.

If I didn't already know who you were from Oehser's mock draft, I'd swear you were Vic returning to haunt us.

 

I'm still scarred by memories of Hayden Epstein, a comparison I don't think is too far off from Myers. He had a leg the size of an Abrams tank and absolutely no control of which direction it fired in (26-of-42 in college...similar stat line). To me, a great kicker is not something to be taken for granted, and I hope Myers proves my fears to be unfounded.
