Surprise, Surprise Radio Problems at Gillette Stadium
|
The history books will have an asterisk next to this era of Patriots football.

Quote:“This is the kind of stuff that happens to the visiting team in Gillette Stadium all the time,” the article said. “From the start of the game through the opening 14 minutes of the first quarter, the Steelers’ coaches’ headsets were receiving the Patriots Radio Network broadcast of the game. The broadcast was so loud that the Steelers coaches were unable to communicate, and the NFL rule is that if one team’s headsets are not working the other team is supposed to be forced to take their headsets off. It’s what the NFL calls the Equity Rule. Strangely enough, whenever an NFL representative proceeded to the New England sideline to shut down their headsets, the Steelers headsets cleared. Then as the representative walked away from the New England sideline, the Steelers’ headsets again started to receive the Patriots game broadcast.” http://m.nbcsports.com/content/steelers’-website-makes-strong-claim-about-headsetgate Keep on cheatin' on Patriots.

As an owner, wouldn't you be embarrassed to keep having headset issues? Whether it's an inference of having poor facilities or outright allegations of cheating, wouldn't you be embarrassed? That this continues to happen in Foxboro should really roll all the way up to Robert Kraft who surely has the cash to maintain a functional communications system.
Only a chump boos the home team!
There is a clear pattern. One team even invited NFL officials to listen in. The team predicted when the radios would go out (during an offensive drive when the team was having success against the Pats D). The radio went out exactly when the team official predicted it would.
The Pats tamper with radios during a few critical drives each game. If the officials also kill the radios on the Patriots sideline, what does it matter? The critical radio link is to the offensive QB. The problem always seems to remedy itself when the Pats go on offense.
Nothing suprises me about the Patriots anymore. They are willing to deflate footballs in a blowout, so they'll definitely stoop to something in what was a close game, although not indicated by the score.

It's probably just poor facilities that only affects the visiting team. lmbo
They also caused the rain and messed with Scobee's shoes.
Im also pretty sure they have been doing the long con by sending Roethlsisburgerele an "anonymous" free large mcflurry at every practice. Quote:There is a clear pattern. I'll only trust what Ted Wells says after a multimillion dollar investigation.

I am sure he was embarrassed by it as he carried the Lombardi Trophy on to the field.
Comcast probably.

Quote:Mike Tomlin going off in his post game interview about radio problems in Foxborough. Pats have the perfect system. Use headsets, they tamper with it. Use hand signals, they steal it. Ben is right, you cant have have the opposing defense getting ready for a 3rd and short. In fact it should be illegal for the other team to audible in any way.

Our headsets are picking up a bit of interference, better leave Gronk wide open.
Quote:Our headsets are picking up a bit of interference, better leave Gronk wide open. Yup. Had their headsets been working, No way Gronk scores 3 TDs and Brady throws 4! Someone magically would've sacked Brady and covered Gronk.
I noticed at the VT/OSU game, OSU brought their own equipment.
VT uses Intelos, OSU had ATT. Just like Deflateghazi, this is an issue the NFL could easily address by making teams responsible for their own equipment. Then again, there's a lot the NFL could address if they actually chose to.

You can put an asterisk next to Kraft, Belicheat, and Brady but Gronk is the truth
Yikes... it just keeps getting worse...

The team did not have a satisfactory explanation when asked about possible irregularities in its communication setupduring the game.”
Shortly after Mortensen’s report, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced that he was penalizing the Patriots for taping opposing teams’ signals. But Goodell said nothing about the Patriots violating any rules with respect to headset communications.

Quote:Actually they said the NFL officials shut down the patriots headsets when the steelers reported it. Point being whether they did or didn't, if they are doing it on purpose, they are prepared for it. That would give them advantage. |
