Not defending him. He isn't as good as he used to be but Steelers gave up a sixth rounder for him because he is still an ok kicker. I was one of posters immediately after trade saying good call because he was missing field goals last year. Seriously who are you going to replace him with?

If Ravens win now Scobee will be blamed when it really now is Tomlin's fault for not going for it, twice. However if Scoby Doo had made either of the FG he missed it would not have mattered.

 

Josh Scobee single-footedly lost the game for Pittsburgh. It was not Mike Tomlin's fault the ball went wide left.

 

What's sad is this is the same guy who made a 59-yarder five years ago. JIm Nantz mentioned that kick.
