Thursday Night Football - Ravens at Steelers

Quote:Tucker is how scobee used to be. Ice in his veins.

In today's NFL,  if a game is on the line and I could have one Kicker,  I would take Justin Tucker w/o question.   Your description of Tucker is excellent.   In what probably is the hardest place to kick in the NFL,  Tucker made it look easy.

Both times on 4th down Tomlin went for it instead of letting Scobee try to figure wind out because he had enough leg. Once Tomlin mouthed my bad after they didn't make it on 4th down.

Yes. Take the chance to end the game.

I would have from 50 to win. No way he misses 3 straight. Plus, the game could have ended right there. Oh well...steelers Killer scobee continues.

Quote:Josh Scobee single-footedly lost the game for Pittsburgh. It was not Mike Tomlin's fault the ball went wide left.

What's sad is this is the same guy who made a 59-yarder five years ago. JIm Nantz mentioned that kick.
That may be true but this loss is on bad game management on tomlin.

Most people would have said no way he missed 2 within a minute. He's 3-7 from 40+ and hasn't made one from more than 45. Not a chance I've be putting him in for a 50 yarder, get the ball inside that 40 and I'd give it him but he obviously has an accuracy problem from 40+.

Quote:Doubt it most of kicks he has missed were over 45 yards...no other kickers better than him out there
He was released.
