Can't even debate it but people seem to think a new coach is going to fix all our problems.

These problems that we were told were going to be cleaned up still persist.

We were told that we would be better and that this was the year when we see it.

This is more about being held accountable. Like I mentioned in my first post, I would have initially opposed a mid-season change, but this has gotten out of hand. You don't know if a coaching change would or would not spark a change and "fix" the problems. I know that if my boss was canned for not producing, it would definitely make me think "oh crap, I will be held responsible for performing well".

I can tell you that there are mistakes made on all levels of this organization; from players not performing on the field and to the coaches making the wrong decisions.

I'm not championing Gus or even arguing he shouldn't be fired. I'm just saying Gus is the symptom Caldwell is the virus.

Quote:I've got a new name for this team: "Team Zombie" the walking dead.

And bortles stated the fans dont know play calling, or anything about this hard game of football. And a nerve to compare are knowledge to 6 year olds. And u loss too 2 teams that we should have won.

Gus the bust has stalled. It's time to change tracks and get someone in here that will hold players accountable for their actions.

In defense of Bortles, it looks like a six year old wrote that.

Get off the "what we were told" kick. Do you need to be told it takes a few years to rebuild s team? Do you need to be told we still aren't close? Or, are you able to make your own deductions?

Is this supposed to be some kind of bold prediction or something?

Private Santiago would have played better than half the guys on our O line yesterday.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Looking through my Teal Glasses, I'm seeing us losing to a former Super Bowl QB and also a former BCS Championship QB.

Not bad --- Go Jags !!!  Rebuilding Plan is right on track.

We will see this Sunday if it is code red or not. I can't even give my tickets away for the game for peanuts. I'd have an easier time giving away a vial of ebola.

I still can't believe I am actually paying to watch this team.

Chucky, I am holding what the person in charge said accountable. I didn't need to be told, but when they proclaim something like that, you bet your [BLEEP] I will hold you to it.

Perhaps we should revisit second grade level reading comprehension. Even a blind man could see how putrid this team looks on Sundays.

Try being a season ticket holder since '95, if you want to resort to personal attacks.

Now run along Chucky and go play with your toys, but you are always welcome back in this thread when you provide something of substance. Okay?

Code Red is an adult movie not appropriate for this forum.

I wouldn't call it a bold prediction.

It's certainly in the realm of possibility.

And I believe when you're at death's door it's called Code Blue.

I was hoping for tangible improvements but it seems like we have gone nowhere. This was the year where we were supposed to beat who we were supposed to beat, right? Our team was built, supposedly.

This looks like another year lost a quarter of the way through. If there was one game that we were "supposed" to win, it was this one - against the lowly Bucs.

I guess we have hit a new low. Our personnel, coaches, and management have to be accountable - because it's their job to perform on the field, coach/improve our players, and make the proper selections... They get paid the big bucks for a reason.

Would making changes to the coaching staff now benefit the team? I would have said I don't know, but what do we have to lose? We have really hit rock-bottom and Vegas and the national media were completely right about the Jaguars.

I'm tired of the being led by blind hope... I will still root for the Jags but damn this is BAD.

and next week the team might be led by Chad Henne...  I dunno why I torture myself each week ... i guess i keep thinking things will turn around and change

i feel like a batered wife sydrome ....

he'll change, its me not him...
