And you continue to rank him with Hall of famers, yet dont include Dan LeFevour? Remember him? I like Bridgewater, and if he came here I would not be upset at all. But I cant stand the way you come on, and bash anyone on here who wouldnt mind a win or 2 more, because it will prevent us getting the " next Aikman, or Manning". Are you using the same crystal ball that was used last draft when Geno was "that guy"? If not, I hope its not the same one you used when LeFevour was "that guy".

Ill be honest with you, I think he is close. If he was 6'4 220, he would be considered on par with Luck probably better due to more arm talent

when luck and manning were in college they had a lot of hype especially in the media all throughout the season and seasons before, they were actually dubbed once in a decade qb prospects or something of that sort. as for teddy not so much, well expect from message boards.  so yeah me and a few others are skeptic about him being paraded with those guys.

If Teddy played with the kind of talent that Oregon has on offense (among a few others) it would be sick. Teddy is limited by his own team and his own coaching which often runs the ball as if its a badge of honor, forgetting that they have the best QB in the country.

Well, those are your words not mine - I'm not sure he'll have 60,000 yards in the NFL like Peyton (even Peyton never would have had that without having the great weapons he had for much of his career and coaches willing to let him sling the rock) , but his command of the position/ game deserves him to be mentioned with the THREE QB prospects I mentioned as a comparison. He's clearly a top level QB prospect and you are on DRUGS if you think Teddy Bridgewater will be available outside the TOP pick, let alone outside the top 2....and this is with a DE prospect in the SAME draft that many consider amongst the best DE prospects in a decade or 2.

 

The only way Teddy doesn't go 1 right now is if he suffers some sort of significant injury between now and the draft.

Yes, he is the odds-on favorite, and it's not close. He's one of the best QB prospects in the last 10 years, if anyone thinks the Jaguars, Vikings, Texans, or any of the other QB-needy teams will pass on him for another prospect they are truly naive.

Thats because the Lousiville coaches run the ball as if its a badge of honor, and seemingly often forget they have the best QB in the country on their team. Even Simple Jack is smart enough to allow Peyton to do his thing, and not mess it up....

I don't think that hurts him at all, maybe in some of the fans eyes, I think Bridgewater can do whatever an offensive coordinator wants him to do. He has the arm strength and accuracy to be a productive player in any scheme, what's most impressive is his poise, eye level, pocket presences, and toughness, and those are things you simply can't teach.
