Negligible. Kylo Ren (the character) is played by Adam Driver, not Mark Hamill.

Everyone is freaking out because the main character played by John Bogoya is holding a light saber in the promos, but if you watch when Kylo Ren opens up his saber Bogoya's character has a freaked out look on his face find of like an oh crap moment. I don't think he's a Jedi in this movie, I think he's leading up to one but I'm doubting he goes from stormtrooper to light saber weilding jedi in one film.

Hmmm that is a little concerning then, it took luke 3 films to become a Jedi would seem rushed if the new hero masters a light saber in one film. Then again we're assuming he starts as a storm trooper that could just be him infiltrating the empire for a mission of sorts?

Remember Luke faced Vader one on one in Empire Strikes Back long before he was ready. Just because he has a lightsaber doesn't mean he has mastered it.

It would make sense with Ren looking at the Vader mask and giving off the you were my family/finish what you started vibe.
