Crazy excited about it, I've tried to avoid the spoilers but it's getting hard to not click in every Star Wars link that pops up in my news feed

Not a Star Wars buff by any means, but they are enjoyable flicks. Actually tempted to get opening night tickets.

Here's my ticky-tack issue with it; If a supposed 30 years or so has passed since the last film in the movie timeline, then why are they still flying X Wings and TIE fighters? Wouldn't there have been an upgrade since then? Or is it just a nostalgia grab for us old dudes?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I can't wait for this. I was supposed to drive down to Jacksonville on the 18th to see family for the holidays but may come down a day or so early to see it in a real theater. The crappy thing about living in a small town is the small theater. Decent for regular movies but not so much for something like this.

The X-Wing model looks a little different. So does the TIE. Presumably, they're upgraded versions of the same fighters.

Just showing what I find here. Star Wars:

The Force Awakens Tickets Already on Sale on eBay for $10,000!

While movie ticketing and theater websites are struggling to run online, some fans (including myself) have already purchased enough tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but some of them bought extras so they could sell them on eBay for ridiculous prices. Yet hardcore fans will probably buy them.

Yep, 10K on Ebay

If you pay $10000 to see a movie, you're a complete idiot, unless you're watching it with the cast and director, and even then...
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
