Where are the Bortles haters?!

Quote:And passing on Carr in the 2nd round
I said it at the time and I'll say it again now. The Texans brass will forever regret not taking Carr in the second round. They didn't want to make the franchise mad because his brother didn't work out but a first round talent QB was sitting there for them and they let him go.

Anyone calling someone BBINT who has better INT % than Brett Farve and Dan Marinos CAREER at age 23 just doesn't understand football.

His INT numbers were always normal. The defense was always the issue.

Hell yeah! Blake is that dude, what is he at like 30 TDs now!? This offense is MONEY! Greene killing the return game. This offseason we need strengthen our defense and sure up our oline and we will be a force in the AFC

Another good game, and he did it without leaning much on ARob. Another step for Bortles.

I'm not a hater but I'm critical as hell for him being the 3rd overall pick and because he has the tools to be legendary. When he plays like trash I will call it. I don't feel the need to kiss the feet of players because they play here like people here do. He still does stare down receivers and throw the dumb ball a few times that can be picked.

Bollocks to your cliche 'just doesn't understand football"  You dont know me and my opinion is no less important than yours.

NTM.. plenty of people agreed....

hes thrown MANY MANY BAD DECISON INT's.

Hes played a couple of good games.. good for him, im happy about it.

Bortles is making the WRs better, not the other way around. Bortles threw 5 TDs last week WITHOUT HURNS. They triple covered A-Rob and Bortles still had a 114 QB rating and 3 TD. Bortles is the real deal.

Every QB stares down his target sometimes.

Huh

Yawn...........

3rd best age 23 season in NFL history for a QB behind Dan Marino and Matt Stafford. Bortles is doing GREAT with limited talent and coaching around him. HE'S 23 YEARS OLD!

When you throw 40-45 passes a game, EVERY QB will throw 1 INT a game. If you knew statistics, you would understand this.

Sure, especially on designed plays. I just see Bortles doing it WAY too much. With all the weapons he has, there is no need.

He has plenty of talent surrounding him. And who do you think has got him where he's at today? the waterboys? No, it was the coaches.

You're calling AR15, Hurns and JT limited talent?

A-Rob is the real deal but I know Blake from high school days. He's improved 5 straight years. He was the backup at UCF and made all 5 UCF WRs get picked up by NFL camps. UCF went 12-1 and #9 in country with Blake and (0-12)) without him.

Hurns didn't even play last week and Bortles had 5 TDs and a 134 QB rating. Sure, A-Rob and Hurns are good but Bortles is making everyone around him better.

He will be top 3 in the league for years to come

It works both ways you know right? Good WR's make their QB's better. On the Hurns TD that could easily have been picked and if AR15 doesn't win those jump balls it goes the other way to. Christ, give credit to our receivers.
