No. The Colts one was a bad snap as well. A head-high line drive is not a good snap.


That said, once Linder gets back and we're rid of Beadles I can live with this line. You could definitely do worse.


They need to concentrate on defense in the draft and FA.

In no particular order:

OLB - with speed and man-to-man blanket coverage - That's Telvin. It's a coverage MLB (and eventual replacement for Poz) that we need

CB - one who can shut down pass threats - Luxury. Wouldn't pass on one, but not high in needs, especially since there aren't a lot of them out there.

DL - don't care which position but must be a penetrator and disruptor on every play Yes

FS - again, speed and man-to-man coverage freeing up the under coverage for middle field YES

QB - skilled player that can push Bortles and step in in case of injury. Draft or solid FA. Bortles is our guy. Low need

PK - FA signing or very late round draft - Veeeery late in the draft if not undrafted FA

Defensive Coordinator (if Bradley stays) - need a true defensive minded coach who can scheme, make adjustments, and get the most out of the personnel onhand YES

 

Medium Need - LG and C upgrades

RB depth - late round

More LB depth

1. Pass rusher: Ogbah in the 1st, Fowler and Marks' getting back to 100%.

2. Free safety: Gipson in free agency.

3. Upgrade at Otto position: Draft Cravens or Darron Lee in the 2nd round.

4. Depth at left tackle to push Joeckel: Draft is deep at this position. Take one in the 3rd round and a veteran free agent.

5. Cut Gratz, McCray and Lewis and let Branch sign elsewhere despite performance yesterday.

6. Bring in veteran kicker (or draft Aguayo in the 5th round)  to compete with Myers.

7. Find a new defensive coordinator
