What are the priorities in the offseason?

#1

I was wondering what the Jags need this offseason.  Here is my list,

Kicker - Myers stinks, any kicker would at least not be worst

Center - Wisniewski is horrible.  The Center has to at least get the ball to the QB and he can't even do that.  I wish they would put Bowanko in to see how he would do

DE - okay Andre Bryant had a decent game but that seems more of the exception not the rule.  I know they are getting Marks and Fowler back next season but one more DL seems to be needed

Shutdown corner - Colvin and House have not done too badly but if they had a chance to draft Hargraves, then I would go for it

FS - this position is more of a need than CB

Backup TE - Mercedes Lewis is thankfully gone next season and the Jags need one more TE

Andre Bryant is definitely my favorite player on this team. Surprised more people don't talk about him. If he didn't have that leg concussion earlier this season I bet 91% of our fan base would call him the best player we got in that darft.

I disagree. He's not great but he's decent. The first botched snap was on him but the Colts one was on Blake. Making one bad snap does not make a horrible player.

Mike Brewster was horrible. Wisniewski is average. I'm not saying don't upgrade if possible but you're wrong on your assessment.

Pass rush. Pass rush. And more pass rush. That instantly makes the secondary look better. Then a FS. And OL depth. Oh and LB, preferably a MLB, though Tripp looked good, he might be the answer for the Poz issue, though not enough sample size on him yet
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Let's not forget a new defensive coordinator.

I think Scobee will be back in teal next year.

In no particular order:

OLB - with speed and man-to-man blanket coverage

CB - one who can shut down pass threats

DL - don't care which position but must be a penetrator and disruptor on every play

FS - again, speed and man-to-man coverage freeing up the under coverage for middle field

QB - skilled player that can push Bortles and step in in case of injury. Draft or solid FA. Bortles is our guy.

PK - FA signing or very late round draft

Defensive Coordinator (if Bradley stays) - need a true defensive minded coach who can scheme, make adjustments, and get the most out of the personnel onhand

No. The Colts one was a bad snap as well. A head-high line drive is not a good snap.

That said, once Linder gets back and we're rid of Beadles I can live with this line. You could definitely do worse.

They need to concentrate on defense in the draft and FA.

FS  -  weakest link of this secondary by a country mile

(Sample is on IR - but if a better prospect is available this sbcheme calls for a stud at FS)

DE/LEO  - We'll get Dante Fowler back from injury and SenDerrick Marks at DT - but one more threat to pressure the QB is needed.

C - need competition here at the very least

CB - Someone to play opposite Davon House (or take the nickel if Colvin wins the outside job.) Marshall coming into his own would be great - but they still need depth.

LB - Depth - maybe an upgrade at OTTO/strong side - possibly a groom-able replacement for Poz at MLB.

After those ^  the priority decreases quite a bit IMO.

Yeah, Andre Bryant.   We definitely need to upgrade Andre Bryant.   He hasn't done anything for us this year.   In fact, I can't even remember him making even one single play.

It's almost as if the guy has been invisible.

More D line depth, more depth at LB, and a little competition at OL wouldn't hurt.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Cornerback is number 1.

FS would be next next.

Any defensive players really.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything out of Christian Clemont either.
