Jameis Winston and 1 Year Old Open Sexual Assault

Starting QB's that are up for the Heisman are never guilty of rape in small towns that have nothing other than a football program holding them together.

He could be guilty and he may not be guilty. Again, the Duke case should have been taught all of us not to rush to judgement. We will know soon enough and once we have all the information, feel free to have an opinion based on that.

Personally, I think the 2 week delay hurts WInston (Heisman)

I believe the voters are going to sway toward McCarron --- i think character is going to go a long way in voting and although this isn't about lifetime achievements, this is the perfect year to justify the vote.

Jameis = Innocent of Rape, Guilty of Stupidity. Dude, you have a hot chick playing hoops for Rice University who was boarding a plane to visit you .....

We shall see. As you said, his personal life (as long as he didn't rape the girl obviously) should have nothing to do with it. But you could be right. Honestly though, I think Jameis would tell you the winning the National Title game is a much bigger achievement.

Why not? Wayne Weaver did...lots of times.

They threw his money around like it was money.

The Gator-infested media combination led the numerous stampedes over the years. Derrick Harvey? Reggie Nelson? And let's not forget who led the various stampedes against Tom Coughlin (now a two-time Super Bowl winner) first in order to find an elephant grave yard for Steve Spurrier, and secondly because none of them was man enough to step into the locker room.

Agree. I think Hicken and Prosser are leading the charge. Their hate for FSU knows no bounds!

"The Heisman Memorial Trophy Award (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or the Heisman), is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football in the United States whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity."

For this reason, Manziel should not win a second time. It is also unlikely that Winston wins it with the potential case looming over his head, for the integrity purpose alone. McCarron almost seems to be a shoe-in.

He raped Miami's defense. That's for sure.

Read the new article on ESPN. Only 3% of voters will be swayed, which is basically nothing out of about 900 voters.

So his lawyer's request to the DA for a quicker decision is pointless. I think this is a desperation move. They fear the incoming doom and tried to get a sense of what the decision might be.

Winston winning it is like giving it to Colt Brennan or Kellen Moore. Big numbers against inferior competition.

Per ESPN: Jameis was also part of some BB gun battle in an apartment complex.

Also, somebody complained that he was stealing soda at a fast food place or something. HAHA. Dude is guilty.

Do we really want the Heisman to be some soda-stealing punk? I think not.
