That so many people don't get it is sad. The Jaguars have the most talent on the field in the division this year, yet they're consistently losing games against teams that are struggling. Part of it was going into the season with a kicker that doesn't belong on an NFL roster, and part of it is that simple Gus doesn't game plan and prepare his players sufficiently.

That talent has also been developed well. Look at ARob and Hurns and how their catching everything. That's sheer effort, and that's a reflection of what they've become under Gus Bradley.

It's what they've become under a holdover WR's coach from the Mike Mularky era. Gus's greatest achievement so far is firing Fisch (only took him two seasons to realize he needed to go) and hiring Olsen.

I strongly agree with this. Asking a third year QB to adjust to a third new offensive scheme would hurt the team more than any benefit a new coach might bring.

In fairness, I can't guarantee that Bradley is not the reason for their development.  However, they also have a top-notch WR coach, they are true pros in their approach to the game, and they obviously have talent and potential.

In fairness, I can't guarantee that Bradley is not the reason for their development.  However, they also have a top-notch WR coach, they are true pros in their approach to the game, and they obviously have talent and potential.

 

 

Remember that their WR has already made it clear that he's retiring after this season so they'll pretty much need Bradley to maintain any continuity among the coaches. Also, credit the WR for developing their skill, but credit Bradley for developing their effort.

The offense is, for the most part, fixed. Olson has done a terrific job. I wouldn't mind seeing him getting the HC job next year, for continuity's sake. Otherwise, replace Babich.
