Quote:Actually, no. Why don't you understand there is a strong connection between the turnover differential and the final result? Turnovers are usually the difference between winning and losing. Quote:This. I used to hate the Pats back in 04-07. Then i realized how great, and how once in a lifetime we are able to see the greatness of a coach and his QB. If they win tonight, its the 5th straight AFC Championship game? Thats insane. It's an incredible accomplishment. Even with the various scandals with the Patriots, I don't anticipate any team in the future getting to the Conference Championship game 5 straight seasons unless the CBA changes dramatically. Quote:Nope, KC's Def has been pretty quiet today. One thing that jumped out is how quickly Tom Brady gets rid of the ball. The Chiefs had difficulty compensating.
The facet of the game that stood out to me the most was the near field level TV angles CBS often used when showing plays live. I hope this was a one time decision by CBS.

What I don't like are pylon cameras. Good thing CBS did not use them. Quote:Care to explain? At least on the TV feed that I saw, a close to field angle was often used instead of a more above angle. Some others mentioned this as well: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/01/cbs-came...gronkowski We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:That picture looks horrible. This is how I viewed most of this game.
Quote:This is how I viewed most of this game. What was CBS thinking? They had a Sky Cam. I did not think too much about it during the game, but agree it sucks. Quote:What was CBS thinking? They had a Sky Cam. I have no idea what CBS was thinking. It didn't seem like technical difficulties because norm camera angle shots were mixed in with the closer view theme. What confused me even more than the weird camera angles yesterday was time mismanagement by the Chiefs. What they did on their last drive made absolutely no sense.
Quote:Why don't you understand there is a strong connection between the turnover differential and the final result? Turnovers are usually the difference between winning and losing. The team that scores the most points wins. This happens 100% of the time. When a team scores the most points we call them the winner and give them credit for winning.
"You do your own thing in your own time. You should be proud."
Quote:The team that scores the most points wins. The team that scores more points is the one that has the most takeaways. That is pretty obvious. That is not always the case. Most of the time, yes, whichever team wins the turnover battle will win the game. Sometimes though, it does not work out that way.
Quote:That is not always the case. Most of the time, yes, whichever team wins the turnover battle will win the game. Sometimes though, it does not work out that way. Correct. It is very rare for a team to lose the turnover battle and win the game. Because of this, I believe the most important play in football is an interception - especially a pick-6. Quote:Correct. It's not very rare when a team is - 1 in takeways vs. turnovers to lose the game. Even when it's -2, it's not in the very rare category. |
