Trump vs Cruz

There goes our country's reputation on how we treat black people.

Quote:Where are the death camps? Public executions? Reporters silenced? Corporations nationalized? Coups?

History's tyrants laugh at your hyperbolic description of governmental change. Say you don't like it, but to call it tyranny is an insult to victims of actual tyrants (i.e. - Pol Pot, Stalin, etc.)

Reporters silenced ask dinesh D souza and countless others. The IRS targeting scandal? The BMA land confiscation? The oppression of minority communities through drug prohibition, the highest incarnation rate in the world, the rolling back of free speech, domestic spying through the NSA the no knock warrents, the nationalization of healthcare, education and the housing markets, but damn it they don't call it death camps just mandatory prison sentences they don't call it public execution just police shootings, they don't call it free speech oppression just security from discrimination, they don't call it wealth confiscation just taxiation. Wake up like everything else tyranny evolves its don't softly like a slow boil so the frogs don't jump out the pan. But go ahead wait for FEMA camps and public execution before you see the tyranny at that point it's to late and we've already lost.

Freaking sheep.....

I'll take as many as you send me. Don't disregard my opposition to abortion with the false argument i won't care for them post birth, I advocate ALL children recieve the security required to reach age of responsility. How we do that is debatable

Fair enough I just lost some faith in him with the hardcore trump sales pitch. No one agrees on everything I guess

The biggest obstical in adoption is the red tape cost associated with it. Which its hard subject you have to make sure the kids are placed in good homes which cost time and money

Some of this is Carsons fault, from what I've read it was his campaign that told reporters Carson is going back home to Florida after Iowa and not to New Hampshire or South Carolina, then CNN ran with it as evidence Carson was going home. Now the Cruz campaign probably knew CNN was taking some journalistic liberties with what the Carson staff said and should've just ignored it but damn Carson you have to be VERY careful what your staff releases.

Carson heading home after Iowa on the day of the caucus makes it look like he's dropping out.

It's my understanding that CNN briefly reported it and someone in the Cruz camp saw it and sent out an email/message to their people.  Basically telling them that Carson was done and to recruit as many Carson votes as you can.

I doubt Ted Cruz had much to do with it other than he hired the people that did it.

Someone feeling the heat?

Carson's demise was inevitable once people started to realize what a total novice he is. His top campaign staffers jumping ship one after another was kind of a breaking point for his efforts. He hasn't announced anything yet, but yeah, he's on his way home.

Yeah, I heard that Trump was calling shenanigans today.

I mean, how ELSE could he have LOST?  The winner must have cheated.  Trump never loses!!*

His rug's a real winner, though.

Quote:Rand is my guy but I'll jump on the Cruz wagon if needed. I can find common ground as a libertarian with Cruz on 80% of the issues. His foreign policy is what gives me pause but hell I'm just hyper-focused on not collapsing the freaking dollar in the next 10 years.

Being on common ground with 80 % of a candidate's positions is a relatively high %.  Especially,  from the standpoint of a candidate who wasn't your first choice and from a general ( November ) election standpoint.

Yet every year thousands of them go to sleazy people who abuse them. I agree with your sentiment there is a lot of red tape. That's just one problem unwanted kids create. Which is why I am firmly pro-choice. If I could find a way to prevent horrible people from procreating, I'd be all over that too.

Im even willing to compromise ending post first trimestet abortions completely and let the states deciede on their individual first trimestet abortions and I'd support subsidized healthcare for birth control.

If rand never was running cruz wouldve probably been my first choice. Right now he's the only candidate I'd vote for in either major party. I've lost lots of respect for several talk and internet pundits for their willingness to back trump.

Id consider going to the dark side before ever voting trump.
