***Official 2016 NFL Scouting Combine Thread***

I didn't like the outcome of Spence's combine. He looked like he was going to lose it and explode during the interview. He ran a slow 40 time.. I think he falls out of the 1st round.

Quote:Jack in the 1st and Spence in the 2nd. Make it happen! This would be outstanding.
ESPN just put up a graphic comparing Watt and Bosa. Their combine stats are almost identical.
Quote:Jack in the 1st and Spence in the 2nd. Make it happen!

How about Bosa Spence?

Quote:But isn't Bosa 20+ pounds heavier?Maybe. Weight wasn't in the graphic.

I think you mean Watt

<p style="text-align:center;">But that same man can get lost in the sauce." Quote:But isn't Watt 20+ pounds heavier? Yeah, Watt weighed in at 290 at the combine.
IMO Bosas numbers at 270 don't look anywhere near as impressive as Watts, especially since he dropped some weight to run faster in the 40 and still ran a mid 4.8
I like Bosa but not in the top 5. I don't think he'll ever live up to that draft status
Quote:IMO Bosas numbers at 270 don't look anywhere near as impressive as Watts, especially since he dropped some weight to run faster in the 40 and still ran a mid 4.8 But what exactly does "live up to that draft status mean?" If you expect him to be Watt then no one will ever meet that. If he can be a guy who can get 10-14 sacks a year then to me that is worthy of that selection. Tweet from Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) - Guy #Jaguars fans should keep an eye on is FSU LB Terrance Smith, he's a guy I think you make your 4th LB, develop him into starter.

I'm not expecting Watt, I think he'll be more of a 7-8 sack a year guy.
Tweet from Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) - Oregon OL Tyler Johnstone met with the #Jaguars this week in Indianapolis, per source. Athletic, 6-5, 301 lbs, ran an impressive 7.31 3 cone

Tweet from Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) - Was told Clemson CB Mackenzie Alexander has been in high demand. Source tells me he's had at least 19 interviews scheduled this weekend.

Tweet from Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) - Think Jordan Jenkins is a really interesting potential Otto linebacker. Can rush, set the edge and is underrated vs. run IMO.

Tweet from Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) - Jaguars linebackers coach Robert Saleh running conversion drills. Was the coach that represented the Jaguars at Fowler's pro day last year.
