***Official 2016 NFL Scouting Combine Thread***

#1
(This post was last modified: 02-22-2016, 01:18 AM by AmeliaIsland.)

Hi, Jaguars fans!    Smile    As many as 275  NCAA college football players have been invited, and are expected to converge to Indianapolis, Indiana, this week for the annual 2016 NFL Draft Scouting Combine.  All the players will perform their skills in front of NFL owners, coaching  and scouting staff in preparation for the 2016 NFL Draft.

Jaguars own the #5 pick of the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft, so the Jaguars ownership and management team of Shahid Khan, Mark Lamping,  General Manager David Caldwell,  along with Jaguars Head Coach Paul Casey 'Gus'  Bradley, and the assistant coaching and scouting staffs, will interview and evaluate potential student/athletes, that make up the 2016 Jaguars Draft Class.

2016 NFL Scouting Combine will be covered exclusively by the NFL Network, along with ESPN.  Good luck to the Jaguars staff, on deciding who they will draft to be the 2016 Jacksonville Jaguars!   Smile  B)   ^_^

This brings up quite the interesting point; Does this thread belong in the College Football Forum where it has resided in the past due to it being manned almost exclusively with College football players, or does it belong in the shiny, new, result-of-a-drive-by-trolling-effort, Forum about the Draft and Free Agency?

Decisions, decisions. If we don't reconcile this pretty soon whatever will the bots do?!?!

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I feel like this thread belongs somewhere else...

..,or maybe here is good.... It seems so official.

Am I just being nostalgic?

Is there anyone with major OCD that can't take 'yes' for an answer that can decide this for all of us?

80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...

This seems like as good a place as any for an article about ridiculous questions asked at the Combine. Starring our very own Austen Lane.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"...When a scout at the combine asked me if I thought my mother was attractive

Figured I'd bump this since the combine is underway.

Ronnie Stanley | CLG

(February 24, 2016 1:22 PM EST)

Notre Dame LT Ronnie Stanley measured 6-foot-5 3/4, 312 with 35 5/8-inch arms at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Stanley also has monstrous 10 5/8-inch hands. Ole Miss' Laremy Tunsil is seen as this year's highest-upside left tackle prospect, but Golden Domer Stanley may offer the highest floor. He also has slightly better physical dimensions than Tunsil, who weighed in at 6-foot-5, 310 with 34 1/4-inch arm length.
