What is the Jags starting lineup Today.
|
Quote:Joke is way to weak to play inside. After about week 3 he will spend much time on the inactive roster on game day. Eventually Dave will have to come clean and Joke was a bust and a bad choice!Inactive is a bit of a stretch. We aren't exactly rich with depth at tackle. Not sure what the starting lineup will be since the draft should produce at least 2 additional starters. So far, Jackson, Gipson and Prince will start on defense. On offense, Ivory will split time with Yeldon and Beachum will compete at left tackle or possibly guard. I'd expect Myles Jack to be added to this list making at least five or six additional starters. Hopefully they will add a pass rusher in the 2nd round to rotate with Fowler. These are significant upgrades and the remainder of the draft should focus on adding speed and depth to the defense.

My suspicion is that Ivory is starting the season over Yeldon, although at some point Yeldon may overtake him Hopefully the two inspire each other to keep getting better, plus Ivory is the perfect roll model at RB for TJ to learn from and follow.

I foresee a rather different WR line-up. The LWR is the split-end spot where you need speed, while the RWR is more you flanker/possession WR. WIth that in mind I'm thinking... LWR: ARob, Lee, Benn RWR: Hurns, Greene, Walters, Sterling slot: Greene, Walters In a 3-wide with Lee or Benn, you could also have ARob moving to RWR with Hurns moving to the slot. In other words.... LWR Lee/Benn, RWR ARob, slot Hurns

The only thing murky at this point is starting left side of the Oline.
I too wonder about the ability of a LT that often gets pushed around being able to shift inside... We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
