I would think it is like this...
Qb-Bortles RB-Ivory/Yeldon WR-A Rob, Hurns and Greene/Lee TE-Thomas/Lewis LT-Beachum LG-Joeckel C-Cann/Linder RG-Linder/Cann RT-Parnell DEF FS-Gipson SS-Cyprien CB-Prince, House and Colvin LB-Skuta, Poz and Smith DL-Jackson, Marks and Fowler Anything i got wrong ?
Bortles
Yeldon/Ivory Hurns/ARob/Lee/Greene Thomas/Lewis Beachum Cann Wiz Linder Parnell Gipson Cyp Telvin Poz Skuta Prince/House/Colvin Fowler Marks Roy Jackson
QB - Bortles
RB - Yeldon TE - Thomas TE - Lewis WR - Robinson WR - Hurns LT - Joeckel/Beachum LG - Cann C - Bowanko (Cann/Linder if MB starts) RG - Linder RT - Parnell LEO - Fowler DT - Jackson NT - Miller DE - Odrik WLB - Telvin MLB - Poz OTTO - Skuta CB - House FS - Gipson SS - Cyp/Sample CB - Prince Don't see Marks starting over Malik, Miller, or Odrik We show less advertisements to registered users. As I have stated several times in the past couple of days, I don't think Joeckel moves inside at all, even considering the hole at C.
One thing I COULD see, especially against a strong passing team, is both Jackson and Marks starting at DT. I think the default starting D-Line would be: LEO-Fowler NT-Miller 3T-Jackson LDE-Odrick but then in situations where we face a strong passing team like New Orleans, I could see possibly a more conventional 4-3 alignment stressing one gap (i.e. Tampa 2 principles) LEO-Fowler 3T Jackson 3T Marks LDE Odrick/a rookie in obvious passing situations. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:As I have stated several times in the past couple of days, I don't think Joeckel moves inside at all, even considering the hole at C. ^This I suspect Joeckel will start at LT while Beachum recovers from his injury. By mid-season either Joeckel has cemented the starting role or Beachum will take over. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?"
Gotta go with Bullseye and Malabar's analysis.
Miller, Marks, Jackson on the interior as 3T depending on down and distance. What fun if Bosa falls our way. Welcome to Duval, prepare to be hit. HeadSlap this is fun and we still don't have all the chess pieces yet.
When they have no time, they think about it!
When they go down hard, they think about it! Just watch Peyton, Andrew, Caep even Mr. Bundchen.

Quote:I would think it is like this...Joke is not a guard. DT's would push him into blakes lap every play.
You either die as a good poster, or live long enough to become the troll.
Quote:Gotta go with Bullseye and Malabar's analysis. Miller isn't a 3T. Miller will be your NT with Malik starting at the 3. Marks will come in on 3rd downs and Malik/Fowler will be moved around.
Right now? Not knowing who we'll end up with in the draft:
Offense QB - Bortles RB - Ivory WR - Allenx2 TE - Thomas, Lewis LT - Beachum LG - Linder C - Cann RG - Parnell RT - Joeckel Reason: Luke doesn't fit inside. Beachum is not a RT. Parnell was very very solid (minus some mistakes) at RT. But he's also our most physical guy. He's also 29, which is not that young compared to Beachum and Luke. Luke has done solid as a run blocker (PFF grades seem to reflect this as well), and he shouldn't have to deal with elite pass rushers there. It's not like the team hasn't played Luke at RT. An interior of Linder, Cann, and Parnell will PUSH defensive lines off the spot even Toby Gerhart can run through them...Not that I'd actually advocate trying that, of course. Of course, we can still draft a guy at G/C that can make this all moot. But if its only the guys we have *now* and how to fit them? I think this is the best case scenario. Defense: LEO - Fowler by default DT - Jackson, Miller DE - Odrick Will - Telvin LB - Poz CB - House/Prince/Colvin FS - Gipson SS - Cyp Reason: The only position really in contention are DT (with Marks a possibility) and SS (with Sample a possibility). I can see us going with Marks/Malik in the middle vs. pass heavy teams, but I think this is our base. Roy commands double-team as the NT, and so does Malik. If we go against run heavy teams, then you can just take out Colvin for Skuta at the OTTO.
Call me in July. I'll know by then.
There are likely to be two draft picks starting and trying to name the d-line starters is ridiculous right now. They are going to move around a lot according to down and distance. Plus we've got at least three upcoming position battles in camp. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Thanks for all the feed back really hoping to get someone to battle with Odrick and Skuta
Bortles QB
Yeldon RB Thomas TE Robinson WR Hurns WR Greene WR Joeckel LT Cann LG Kelly Center Linder RG Parnell RT Fowler DE Marks DT Jackson DT Odrick DE Smith LB Poz LB Skuta LB Prince CB Ramsey CB Gipson FS Cyp SS Quote:Bortles QB This, but exchange Joeckel for Belchum and Skuta for Jack, then we're good.
Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny. Quote:Joke is not a guard. DT's would push him into blakes lap every play. Which is what happened a lot anyway. He's not cut out as a long-term starter for this league. He's backup quality and I wouldn't want him at Guard either. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Offense:
QB- Blake Bortles RB- TJ Yeldon WR- Allen Robinson WR- Allen Hurns WR- Rashad Greene TE- Julius Thomas LT- Luke Joeckel LG- AJ Cann C- Luke Bowanko RG- Brandon Linder RT- Jermey Parnell Defense: FS- Tashaun Gipson SS- Jonathan Cyprien CB-Prince Amukamura CB- Davon House LB- Telvin Smith LB- Paul Posluszny LB- Myles Jack LEO -Dante Fowler DT- Malik Jackson DT- Roy Miller DE- Jared Odrick
Joke is way to weak to play inside. After about week 3 he will spend much time on the inactive roster on game day. Eventually Dave will have to come clean and Joke was a bust and a bad choice!
You can't just move tackles inside to guard like this... guards need big "squat" power and tackles need long, strong arms with great foot control. It's not just a matter of "let's take this guy we thought could be a tackle but didn't meet expectations and try him at guard".
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
