Looking at the schedule, I honestly feel we can go undefeated.

Quote:You lost me at luck. That guy was below average when he did play. I've been saying it since he was drafted that he's very average and it's starting to show. He gets so much love because he was mannings successor.

I'm going with a navy buddy who lives out there. 4 of us total, all diehards. Good to know we aren't alone.

Hays' article was a bit aggressive, but it really is what a lot of us need to hear. We face 4 of the best QBs of the season in the first 4 weeks. We have GOT to play better on Defense and get to these guys early and often.

Fortunately, we are getting back a player that forces inside pressure (Marks), signed a high-profile FA for inside pressure (Jackson), and are getting back an edge rusher likely to be better than anyone at the position last year (Fowler). Hopefully, Gipson (and maybe Jack, if we get him) can help resolve the TE issue we had last year.

I am hopeful we can do it, but the schedule makers did us no favors with the opening schedule. Playoff team right off the bat, then going to SD where we have never won (0-3), West Coast all time - 2-10. Anything is possible in this league, but it will be tough.

I don't quite get the overwhelming confidence people have with the offense right now.  Yes, Bortles improved last year, and Arob and Hurns are playmaking up-and-coming WRs, but there still is alot to be seen as far as staying on the field and finishing drives.

Looking at our team now and the possibilities of the draft, we could easily be 2-2 or 3-1; maybe even 4-0. Will this actually happen? Probably not. I say 2-2 is foreseeable. If so, the season should turn out much better than previous one's. If we come out 1-0, we could be out for a great year! Just saying...

I expect 3-1 or better the way things stand now. This team is talented. Now it's time to put it all together and win some games.

Well the team had the 32nd ranked scoring offense in 2013 and 2014. Last year they were 14th. An offense where the majority of starters had less than 3 years of experience. They had 22 and 23 year old guys breaking franchise records. Yes there are areas they can improve in, but it is easy to see why people are confident.

Well the Packers game was bad timing, thats for sure. Im disappointed we did not get a primetime match other than the Thursday night game but o well. We need to be a more productive team to get more recognition. Nothing new though, have to start out well and that can carry on to the season. First 4 games are not easy. Definitely need to go atleast 1-1 in the first 2 games. I think 0-2 can be bad for confidence.

I think having Green Bay 1st is a good thing. They aren't on any kind of win streak yet. Punch them in the mouth first and don't look back. The trip to San Diego will test this team, 1-1 after the first 2 games... Ravens and clots aren't the Ravens and clots of 8 years ago...... Jags can go 3-1 before the bye. First Friday Beer down!!! :woot:

2-2 is doable. We are better than the Chargers, Ravens, and Colts on paper at least. Whoever plays the better defense wins week 1, hopefully we stop Rodgers. I hope we stay healthy through all the rookie camps, OTAs, and preseason. We need a complete healthy team heading into the season, we can't afford to have another huge injury like Fowlers last year. Stay healthy we will have a chance to compete.

Agreed.  We used to call that a "spinner".
