Bradley has to find a way to be 2-2 before the Bye

#1

We got our defensive lineman in Jackson. We get Fowler back. Linder and Lee on offense will be healthy. Yeldon is coming back. We got Ivory. Gipson and Amukamura will help our secondary.

We still get the draft and any cuts around the league during preseason.

Please....let us win at least 2 games before the bye in week 5.

Packers - let's be reasonable. Loss

Chargers - winnable

Ravens - winnable

Colts - coin toss

I know it's fun and all - but I turned off the NFLN's schedule show when they stared projecting wins and loses five months before the first kick-off, to say nothing of the draft.

And based on last year's games why is the Colt's game not winnable rather than a toss-up? Based on last year's game why is the Chargers game not a toss-up rather than winnable? And what's the difference in winnable and toss-up? I'm confused.

It really all depends on the defense and what else we do there. Our offense can play with the best of them, our defense was our Achilles heel last year...will it be solid enough not to mess up games at the least this year?

A lot will depend on that.

Typically there will be two or three starters injured by the start of the season. That's true of our opponents too.

Would 0-4 at the bye be enough for management to realize that Bradley is the biggest weakness?

We almost caught a Super Bowl participant off guard week 1, so it could happen with Green Bay. Better than playing them week 8 IMO.

One downside for the Jaguars though in the week 1 matchup is they will be w/o CB Aaron Colvin.   Considering there are many games that the Packers use 3 WR sets most of the game,  compensating for the loss of Colvin is going to be one of the Jaguars top challenges that afternoon.

I hope we go 2-2.... Or better. I also think as it stands right now, that it's possible.

Looking at the schedule, I honestly feel we can go undefeated.

if anything the most important thing for Bradley is going 1-0, we've lost too many openers in a row (I've lost count) we NEED to start this season strong and professional. Its really time to put up or shut up

On paper we're better than all four of those teams.

There's no way we run the infamous " Ice Cream Zone " this year. It should be an upgraded "Frozen Cone 3" scheme.

Any game in the NFL is winnable, but the Jaguars lost to the Chargers when they shouldve defeated them last year, and the number one reason was that they couldn't get to the QB nor cover the Charger WRs with weak DBs

signing of Malik Jackson (pass rush inside), Gibson FS & CB Prince help change along with Fowler & Marks returning healthy but they still could use another corner & pass rusher to help increase those odds...

Of course everyone is saying LB Myles Jack is the pick...

He's gonna need a bigger bowl.

2-2 huh, you are asking Gus to do something he has NEVER done as a HC, or even come close to.

I guess you also want him to make the playoffs too, something else he has NEVER done?

Well, I suppose there is a first time for everything.

C'MON Gus, shock the world and a whole lot of Jag's fans along the way.

I think 3-1 is a possibility.  The only loss would be to the Packers.
