Its was on the tv show, path to the draft just awhile ago, he said jags have a lot of interest in Floyd and that he reminds them of Bruce Irvin.

Well I can see that so it wouldn't surprise me, just more so because you said that he stated that we are likely taking him at 5. Haven't heard anyone say that is likely at this point, just a serious option.

 

I can see that comparison, Irvin played a lot more LEO when Gus was with him too, pretty sure he had 8 sacks or so his rookie year.

Yeah, Jack is a better talent no doubt and likely ends up our MLB at some point, but I don't see why we're pissed off at the thought of an OTTO who can come off the edge on pass downs, and as time goes on maybe get even a bigger role as a pass rusher.

Ian never actually said it was likely. This guy is just exaggerating to make it bigger news. He just said that Floyd is looking more like a top 10 pick than a top 20 and that he could go as high as 5. And that teams compare him to Bruce Irvin.

I feel like the browns are gonna move up ahead of Baltimore to draft Tunsil after he slides to 5. Chargers are gonna take Buckner at 3 and the Cowboys have no need for Tunsil. At 8 you get Floyd and another 2nd maybe more.

I look at it the other way. If they questioned his knee they just wouldn't take him at 5. I don't think working him out again is going to change the long term questions the jacks knee bring. It makes more sense that they worked him out again because they liked him and weren't worried about the long term effects like some think will be a problem.
