Quote:I would love that pick if we did not draft T.J. Yeldon last year. Now that RB is not a need anymore, I just hope the Cowboys don't pick him.
I hope they do

Why do you want Elliott to be a Cowboy? We have been talking about three players. If the Cowboys pick Bosa, we still have a choice between Ramsey and Jack. If they pick Ramsey, we still can choose between Bosa and Jack.

because I want Dave to have the pick of the liter on defense. Why wouldn't I want Elliot to be a Cowboy? Any real fan would!

Really want Ramsey, but think it will be Bosa.

I'll accept p much any of the guys who are in the mix, tho.  I'll trust Caldwell.

Bosa would be a good pick. Prior to the the million mock drafts we've been subjected to, he was consensus 1st or 2nd pick (along with Tunsil). He is very safe and will be productive player at position of greatest need.

Leremy Tunsil instantly became the favorite to go #1 overall when Tennessee clinched that pick. Obviously the only reason Joey Bosa lost his top pick status was the who owned it: a team that needs a left tackle and not a defensive end.

So where did Bosa fall to? The Cowboys, who clearly have a big hole at defensive end. He is both a top 5 talent and a need filler.

I am a Buckeyes lover and Cowboys hater, so obviously it would be bad for me to see a blue star on Elliott's helmet.

Quote:I am sticking with DB Jalen Ramsey, because the team needs to improve against the Pass (see note below) & a small chance that the Chargers will draft Buckner instead of Tunsil & that Dallas might draft Myles Jack over Joey Bosa.

Leaving it to Bosa or Ramsey as the pick which both would be great but if you can have only one... Ramsey makes more sense... because GM Dave Caldwell stated that he is okay with the Pass Rush roster yet he had mentioned that finding a ball hawk safety in this league is near impossible (sure he signed TaShaun but you can plug Ramsey in at corner to play a role similar to Richard in Seattle at RCB playing zone & tough physical man to man when needed whom is still good against the Run as well.  Jalen Ramsey is the best athlete in the draft (Combine results), and fits a need.  If he falls to #5 for any reason it is very hard to say that he's not the obvious pick.  The fact that he played college football in Florida is simply icing on the cake.

Note

The Jaguars ranked 25th in the NFL at defending opponents’ No. 1 receivers last year, according to Football Outsiders.  They ranked 24th against No. 2 receivers, 26th against other receivers and 28th against tight ends.
