Quote:Youre drowing in the teal koolaid if a potentially healthy jordy nelson doesnt worry you And add in Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:if speed and agility were the only things that mattered this might hold some weight. What else matters in football?? Jordy can't outmuscle anyone.... So....... Yea.
Oh and Myles Jack is a much tougher man than Jordy. He's a demon on the field. So is Ramsey.
Quote:And add in Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball.one good offseason and no one is scared of good teams anymore lol Were world beaters now didnt you hear?
Quote:one good offseason and no one is scared of good teams anymore lol Just don't think Jordy is any good. Rodgers is. But when Jordy can't separate he ain't throwing near him. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Good QB's historically carve us up...Hopefully we can change that trend opening day.. GO JAGS.
Quote:you can think whatever you want but youre objectively wrong.Took him 6 years to have a decent season (with Rodgers throwing the rock). Our CBs get to play against two WRs that did that in their 2nd years. Not worried about that guy at all.

He got drafted in 08 and his first good season was 2011 We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Imagine not being worried about a top 10 receiver the last 4 years
Imagine basing your assesment on box stats and not on actual game tape
Quote:Imagine not being worried about a top 10 receiver the last 4 years He's a result of Rodgers. Not the other way around.
Quote:if speed and agility were the only things that mattered this might hold some weight. It's going to hold the most weight in vertical passing situations. Nelson is not going to be impactful.

Does anyone on this forum watch anything but jaguars games and highlights cause the lack of awareness for the rest of the league is pretty scary.
Quote:Does anyone on this forum watch anything but jaguars games and highlights cause the lack of awareness for the rest of the league is pretty scary. Wait, you expect Nelson to be a the height of his game despite going into the game barely a year removed from tearing his acl?
Quote:Youre drowing in the teal koolaid if a potentially healthy jordy nelson doesnt worry youlol, I thought that was funny too. We dont have a corner that can cover Nelson. Maybe Ramsey diwn the road but not right now. If Nelson isnt 100% coming back from the ACL House I think can do a decent job. Nelson is one of the best WR in the game when healthy, the GB offense was not the same last year after he got injured. Should be a good game though

What's equally funny to me is the guys who praise Caldwell for his drafting genius, but don't think the the player he took at 5 to be a #1 corner capable of limiting a recovering Nelson.
Quote:Two good seasons out of eight make him one of the best??? Bwahahaha.Josh Norman isnt one of the best corners in the league? Or Marks wasnt ine of the best DT in the league 2 seasons ago since he wasnt the same player a few season before that? Malik Jackson isnt one of the best DT in the league since a few years ago he wasnt? Your logic sucks! Players get better, some it takes longer than others. I dont care what he did 5 years ago. Look what he done the year before last when he was healthy. There is a reason the players voted him in the top 20 on NFL top 100 players last year. Im sure the players in the league that go up against him every Sun know what kind of player he is much more than you
Quote:Two good seasons out of eight make him one of the best??? Bwahahaha. This upcoming season would be his 8th, you have no idea what youre saying. |
