The latest poll I read about shows Donald Trump is leading Hillary Clinton safely within the margin of error. I need to see a difference completely outside the MOE to believe such reports.

I would like to know how someone who ran for president this year did not know he can't vote for John McCain in his own state. That has to be embarrassing in Ohio, where registered voters know a vote for McCain won't count.

When people say stuff like that, I am just curious what their background is. I have a college degree and make a good living and am supporting Trump, as is basically everybody I know. The education argument is about as weak as the racist argument.

Actually, you need to go back and reread what scarecrow wrote. He wasn't talking about schooling, he was talking about people voting without knowing the issues. Being uneducated about the election, not lacking an education.

I'm not trying to be mean but this is a big part of the problem. Voters like this.

This is a huge problem in this country (and it is not exclusive to only one party either).

Huge Masses of the population are severely under-informed about who/what party they are voting for.


Media in this country is a freaking joke. There is nothing but propaganda, lies, deflection. Scripted campaigns for parties say nothing but lies and mis-information.


These candidates could care less about any of us individually. Yet, citizens get so tied up with a particular candidate, even though that candidate could give a Rats Behind about you as an individual, except to tell you lies to garner a vote.

Even I understood "educated voter" has nothing to do with how long someone has been in school. As for whether I am an educated voter or not, Scarecrow has a different opinion about what that means.

What is even scarier is I know someone who is very conservative in every aspect of life but votes democrat because, and this is a quote from a man who worked for and retired from a telephone company, "the rich man never did anything for me so why would I vote for one?"

 

No, that rich man who owned that telephone company didn't employ you and give you good pay and benefits at all. And those democrat politicians, they all live like the people they champion. They're not rich at all. Yeah, right.

The dems are going to lose this election. Trump has done a better job of energizing his base. I don't think many people want to vote for her whole many want to vote for him. The left is apathetic and the right smells blood.

None of the Presidential Candidates on the ballot come remotely close to being acceptable for me.  Many believe it's a wasted vote.  That's fine.  When the dust settles,  I'll be comfortable with my decision knowing I did what feels like the right thing,  not what's popular or conventional.

It was only ABC, and their results have it pretty much tied right now nationally.   Even the most biased of pollsters have to start giving more accurate results now that we're less than a week from the election, so this isn't surprising.  If they stuck with the models they were using previously, oversampling democrats and minorities at levels that sway the results, they'd look pretty foolish on election day.
