Trump not being a career politician (a Washington "insider") is one of the main reasons (in a lot of cases, the ONLY reason) many people will vote for him.


Over the course of the past few months, I've heard many people say that's why they will vote for him, even though they are not crazy about either candidate.


Trump will garner a lot of votes just because he is not a career politician. A vast amount of Americans are sick and tired of all these politicians and the mess crated by them that never seems to get better.


I don't like either candidate. But, it's gotten to the point where I would almost vote for ANYONE that's not a "status quo" career politician. I don't like Trump, but I don't like HRC at all.

 

Career politicians are absolutely part of the problem.  They become part of the culture of corruption, and end up governing in order to win the next election.  It was never the intention of the founding fathers for people to make a career out of being in public office.

She accepted responsibility for it. They reopened it after voting started. Yes, she did it, but they should have kept the case closed after making a ruling. Doesn't the Constitution ban trying people twice for the same crime? That is what this has become.

 

Again, it is not just the D. I also am unwilling to support her opponent. Just like other people who will vote for Clinton, my vote will be against Trump.

She was never tried in a court of law so double jeopardy doesn't apply here. And Comey told the Congressional panel that if any new information came to light that he would inform them. As bad as the information is they had no choice but to reopen the investigation.

Florida has a second-term Republican governor. Rick Scott's win two years ago was close though. All year it has been a "battleground" state (nearly even split between the D and R in polls), mostly with Hillary Clinton leading.
